Summary: Very exciting reading
Review: I just finished this book and would highly recommend it. I have read all of Linda Howard's books and enjoy her stories, but this book has the best seduction scene I have read in a long time. The story itself is entertaining and the characters are very likable.

Summary: Hot, hot, hot. Joe MacKenzie is awesom
Review: I loved this book. Joe MacKenzie is sexy personified. His control, strength, and sexuality left me breathless. This book is one of a series of five MacKenzie books. I can't wait to track down the others! I'm a new Linda Howard fan, that's for sure.

Summary: Wow!
Review: If I can give it 10 star, I will. But the highest rating is 5. In MacKenzie's Mountain, I fell in love with Wolf, Joe's father. Joe was 16 years old in that book. Joe's character was very interesting, it just grabs you and nearly stole the show. Then in MacKenzie's Mission, he was just sizzling! Caroline is a perfect match for Joe. I fell in love with Joe in this book. MacKenzie's Mountain and MacKenzie's Mission is just 2 of the most beautiful, most romantic, wonderful story of all time. I've read both MacKenzie's Pleasure and Game of Chance, it pulls all the characters together. I have yet to read Maris' story though and can't wait to do so. I only have 1 complaint though, I want more MacKenzie stories!... I hope Ms. Howard writes about Michael and Joshua as well.

Summary: #2 in THE MACKENZIE SAGA --- #1 SON
Review: It took Colonel Joe "Breed" Mackenzie till he was 35 to get hit with cupid's arrow. Must have seemed imperative to develop him into a legend.

Joe loved his aircraft but was curious about the replacement to the laser division, Caroline Evans. His mental assessment of her kicked his hormones into overdrive. Her opening sass caught his attention.

Caroline got along with most of her workers Cal Gilchrist and Yates but had problems with Adrian. The resolution of their sniping at each other was a bit of a surprise.

Didn't like the slowing down of the meat of the story to concentrate on the deliberate seduction and Caroline's silly surrender. But that is how she goes!

Interest picked up again when Caroline became a suspect in the possible sabotage downing an F-22. Even more interesting was her reaction when she realized that Joe questioned her involvement.

I really liked the part where Joe opens up and we find out about the children that Wolf and Mary have had. Michael, their first born is now 18, and Joshua is 16, he appears to be a jet freak like Joe at his age, then there is Zane. He appears intense, silent and dangerous, like Wolf. And they finally got their daughter, Maris who is like her dad, who is sheer magic with horses. Ah, the magic of family. Joe is proud of them and loves them intensely.

Now back to the good part. Caroline, through some realistic deduction finally gets an idea of who is responsible for the skrewups and decides to tackle the party on her own. Another stupid move on the part of a woman. Joe ends up following her and walks into an ambush which ends up leaving them high and dry in the desert.

Breed's emotions are so intense by now that he decides to marry Caroline. There is nothing like shared danger and experiences.
Wolf and Mary get their first grandson [not even a 50/50 bet according to Mary] John Mackenzie. I wonder how long we will have to wait for his story.

DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED except for the lack of moral judgement.
Just hope L. Howard remembers there are more Mackenzies out there.

Review: Joe "Breed" Mackenzie is hot. This book positively sizzels with its desert setting and heated passions. Linda Howard writes descriptions that are felt by the reader. I can still feel his hot blue stare on my . . .

Summary: excellent
Review: Joe first seen in mackenzie's mountain is incredible. The Mackenzie collection by Linda Howard is probably the best series out in the romance field. i would recommend these books and this one specifically for any and all to read.

Summary: Mackenzie's Mission a Must-Read
Review: Joe Mackenzie won't be a stranger if you've read Mackenzie's Mountain. In fact, you were probably waiting, no, begging for hist story. As the second of a family of great stories, Mackenzie's Mission is a must-read. Fans of Linda Howard won't be disappointed if they expect her formula instant attraction-sensational sex-happily ever after, because she definitely delivered. This book lives up to the promise Joe showed in his dad's book, while leaving you itching to read the stories of the rest of his family. You'll regret not reading this!
