Review: This is the first SEP book I read and it is still the best, followed closely by Fancy Pants. I can identify with Phoebe as I know nothing about football, which made the book even funnier for me.

Review: I really like this author and I have to say her Chicago Stars series includes some fo her best novels. It Had To Be You was the last book in the series that I had not read and it was great. I loved both the hero and heroine, who were so perfect for each other. Along with Nobody's Baby But Mine (my favorite) this is one of her best books yet. And for those who are interested, the heroine's sister will be paired up with Kevin Smith from Nobody's Baby But Mine and it will be her next book out the year 2001.

Review: I've read every Susan Elizabeth Phillips book I know of. "It Had To Be You" has got to be my absolute favorite. Her characters stay with you. She makes you feel what they feel. I laughed,I cried...and then I read it again!

Summary: Dan is the man!
Review: What a wonderful love story! From the hysterically funny opening scene to the thoroughly satisfying epilogue, this romance is as good as they come. Dan simmers, stews and finally boils as he fights his attraction to sexpot Pheobe. The supporting characters were wonderful, particularly Bobby Tom and Viktor. You'll cheer when an absolutely despicable villian gets his comeupance courtesy of Dan's fist. Ha cha-cha, Ha cha-cha....

Review: It Had to Be You was the hottest book I have ever read! Along with Dream a Little Dream it is one of my favorites. Definitely a kepper.

Summary: Funny, witty, well written, believable, GOOD all around!
Review: This was the first book by Ms. Phillips that I had ever read. Since then, there is only one -Hot shot- that I have not loved. This book is so lovable! Phoebe Sommerville is such a great character! Strong yet vulnerable, she is the kind of heroine that stays with you. And Dan Calebow is simply gorgeous in so many ways. The plot ans subplots are interesting and complex, and most of the characters grow and develop through the book just like people do. The pace of the book is fast and the dialogues are natural and funny. The love scenes are sensual and hot, and so real -these are people not cardboard cutouts-. I've found out that you just can't put this book down, even when you are reading it for the umpetenth time!

Review: I thouroughly enjoyed this book. And I've never watched a football game in my life! I could not put it down. In fact, I took "bathroom breaks" at work and read it on the toilet. NOT kidding! I couldn't help myself. Phoebe and Dan are hot! I hope SEP writes one for Molly in a few years! Can't wait to start Heaven, Texas.

Review: loved this book. Dan was the man every woman would like to get alone for one night. Phoebe was absolutely the cutest thing to come down the pike. I loved this book. The book was one that couldn't be put down and one I saved to read again and again Susan Elizabeth Phillips is the best there is. Anyone who likes to read romance can't help but enjoy these books by her. Whenever I'm in a book store and see someone pick up one of her books I can't help telling them, "you aren't evey going to regret buying that book". I think I'm her biggest fan for all the wonderful reading I've had from her books.
