Summary: Mirror Mirror on the wall
Review: What a book... Laura's whole life she has been fasinated with mirrors. she has hundreds. She looking for something in a mirror but doesn't know quite what it is but she is sure she'll know when she sees it. This is a good murder mystery. Who killed Peter and why? Was it because of the mirror Laura bought at his estate sale? Jealous lover? Jealous wife? And why is Laura drawn to Daniel, Peter's brother. The chemistry sizzles off the page. Family secrets are revelled and a timeless love regained. Enjoy this read

Summary: Muddled....
Review: What an unbelievable, messy hodge-podge of a book! A lot of characters to keep straight (even though there was a genealogical chart on the first pages) and if that weren't enough, a wimpy, "I'll-believe-anything" heroine to set your teeth on edge! Get this: She's implicated in a murder. Without hesitation, she calmly accepts an invitation to live at the murdered man's house and paint his grandmother's portrait! SURE! There should be no reason to doubt the sincerity of this family! Ick. A real waste of my reading time. Too bad. I kinda liked the hero but the heroine made me sick.

Summary: Murder and Romance, Again and Again
Review: When artist Laura Sutherland buys the antique mirror at the Kilbourne estate sale she has no idea how it's going to change her life. Shortly after Peter Kilbourne tries to to buy it back. For reasons she can't understand, Laura refuses to sell, even though Peter offers her a handsome profit. Later Peter is murdered, Laura is the suspect. She goes to the Kilbourne estate, home of one of Atlanta's wealthiest families, meets and falls in love with Peter's brother David and is drawn into the intrigues of the Kilbourne family.

I loved this book five stars worth. I was swept into the timeless intrigue, the timeless romance, the murders, the, whoops, I almost gave away the ending. "Finding Laura" is Kay Hooper at her best. My recommendation, buy this book and prepare for a wonderful, sleepless night.
