Summary: Dream a Little Dream ended my months long non-reading slump!
Review: Thank you SEP! You just ended a months long non-reading slump with Dream A Little Dream. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole book, but especially found endearing the spunkiness of Rachel as she battled to provide the best care possible for her son. I'll certainly recommend this book to all my friends.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of my two all time favorite books!
Review: I've read this book twice over the past 8 months. I cried both times! This a most heart-warming story.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This is the first SEP book I've read - won't be the last!
Review: This is the first of SEP's novels I've read. I found it to be totally enchanting. I found Rachel to be a little firecracker--full of spunk. Kristy on the other hand was a quiet, frumpy woman who discovered her sexuality in the arms of her preacher. I felt sorry at first for Rachel's son, Chip, who (in my eyes) appeared to be a small, frail boy looking for love. He found that love and acceptance, after many disagreements, in the arms of his future stepfather, Gabe. I especially liked the epilogue--everyone found happiness at last.

All in all, I would heartily recommend this book. This was one of the best books I've read. I could'nt put it down. I stayed up and read halfway into the night. I'm in search of all of SEP's books now. I'm a reader for life!

Summary: FANTASTIC!
Review: Susan Elizabeth Phillips had me laughing and crying along with the characters. I'm eagerly awaiting her next book!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the Best! Funny and full of Surprises!
Review: I loved this book, and it's the first time that I have ever read a Susan Elizabeth Phillips book and I just found it very interesting and funny. It was really good and I just couldn't put it down. Rachel was funny, and her position was not one that was like a fairy type kind which made it all the more realistic and less of a boring ole fantasy. I touched my heart at how hard she tried to survive, and at the same time taking it as a joke just so life won't seems as bleak. And...wait...I can't tell the whole story! If you want to know what happenes, I guess you'll just have to read the book!

PS. Now that I have read this book, I can't wait to read Nobody's Baby But Mine!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: More serious, but just as good as "Nobody's Baby But Mine"
Review: I truly enjoyed this book, "Dream A Little Dream." I always enjoy Susan Phillips, but this one I thought was special in many ways. I liked Rachel, I felt she was a realistic character. We're not all tough guys, and to portray her as a little tough, a little tender was just the right touch. Gabe, while he seemed totally crusty on the outside ended up showing his softer underbelly in the end, and like the rest of the Bonner clan, his ultimate honor and loyalty towards the woman in his life. Loved the book. *smile*

Summary: Brilliant.
Review: I started the book Sunday night, and I was still reading at 1:30 in the morning. Even knowing that I had to work the next day, I couldn't put the book down. I love Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Her books inspire, motivate, and give me hope about life and love. I absolutely cannot wait for Lady Be Good.

Summary: Susan Elizabeth Phillips' books are always excellent!
Review: I enjoyed this book thoroughly, but it was not my favorite of those Susan Elizabeth Phillips has written. Even so, I've read this book twice, and finished it within an hour! I would invite any romance reader to explore Heaven, Texas and Kiss An Angel, as well as the remainder of Ms. Phillips' books. Ms. Phillips interjects a great amount of humor into her books, and creates characters one can always identify with. The characters are far from perfect, but still manage to draw the reader in. The only minus to reading Ms. Phillips' books is that they end all too soon!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: different from her other work, but still excellent
Review: I just finished this book, and was a little surprised. I didn't like it nearly as much as Nobody's baby but Mine, and I found myself wishing for a little more of the humor from her other books. However, this book was very sexy, but you found yourself wishing that Rachel had run over all the Bonners with her broken down car! I don't know if I could have put up with being a pariah, even for love.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Couldn't put it down
Review: This is the first of her books that I've read and I couldn't put it down. I would have liked to have known more about Gabe. Rachael seemed very real. Ethan and Kristy's trip to Kentucky...not very realistic. If, as many reviewers have written, her other books are better, than I am eager to read them.
