Summary: MISS!
Review: Dara Joy has had a number of hits - but sadly this wasn't one of them! The storyline will leave readers who haven't read "High Energy" confused and wondering who these people are, why we should care about them, and what the inside joke is. I found I didn't care much for Zanita and Tyber and nearly gave up on this novel several times because I just couldn't follow the storyline.

If you want to read Dara Joy at her best, I suggest reading "Rejar". There, you'll see Ms. Joy sparkle!

Summary: Classic Dara!
Review: This is as good if not better than the first one. She never dissapoints me. Ms. Joy is an incredible story-teller. Her sense of humor has never been sharper. There is a lot of steam as well but that is to be expected <g> I stayed up all night reading it and wasn't sorry. It left me happy, which is worth the price to me. And I'll NEVER forget that scene in front of the window! Still fanning myself over that one. When that old man said to Tyber "you are something else, boy" I had to agree. Hot and humorous and fun and two cats-hey,who could ask for more? Not much out there compares to Dara Joy. Buy it-you won't be dissapointed. She's a wonderful writer.

Summary: DARA JOY IS A WONDER
Review: This book has it all. Great characters, great plot, great sex. I burst out laughing several times scaring my dh (once he fell off his lazyboy-haha!) There is one funny scene after another. A very entertaining read. I loved it. Highly reccomended.

Summary: A WONDERFUL READ
Review: Yes, it is not a Matrix book. Yes, it is not Traed's story. Once you get past this it is a true delight. Only Dara could write such a laugh out loud story filled with warm-hearted, whacked out characters. Superb plot. The writing is crisp, humorous. As seems to be a trend in her work there is not a wasted scene or clue that isn't tied in at the end. Well-researched too. There are so many clues and references I am amazed she was able to tie it all together so neatly. Tyber, the ultra sexy physicist made me sweat. I'll never look at lace the same way again. Zanita is a very likeable, sweet woman, who deserves this man. Bravo, Ms. Joy.

Summary: RUN TO GET THIS ONE! A TRUE TREAT!
Review: THIS IS THE BEST BOOK I'VE READ ALL YEAR! TYBER IS BACK AS HIS OWN SEXY SELF (YUM!) AND ZANITA IS STILL SPINNING HIM AROUND. WHAT A COUPLE! ADD TO THIS DELIGHTFUL TALE OF GHOSTBUSTING A SURPRISING WHODONEIT AND YOU GET A FIRST CLASS ROMANCE. I READ IT IN ONE SITTING AND YOU WILL TOO. I JUST LOVED THE FAT CAT HIPPOLITO! DARA'S BOOKS ARE ALWAYS A RARE TREAT. THIS ONE HAS GONE RIGHT ON THE KEEPER SHELF. I'VE ALREADY REREAD IT TWICE (AND FOUND TONS OF STUFF I MISSED FIRST GO ROUND.) YOU GO, DARA!

Summary: Path of true creativity
Review: No other author has the ability to guide the mine into such a creative intuitive world as Dara Joy. The way the lines of the story intricately weave is mind boggling to all. It takes a sincere, strong mind to develop and portray such a world with only the use of text. I have not heard or read of such an author, other than Dara Joy. And, there is no need for the imitation of stories per say from other authors. Dara Joy has a unique ability only to herself, that allows her to create and open worlds with enticing stories in them. Other authors that try, only follow the path that is created. Those that follow do not have the ability to create on their own terms. So they use the terms that have helped create the worlds, that they try to be successful in. These terms are the ground work that Dara Joy sacrificed her time at creating. Dara Joy's story telling, allows her to create a path that opens and allows no limitation of what is to come. This is the essence of a true author, that lets the work speak for itself. It seems that those author's that try to imitate have to speak for their work instead of their work speaking for itself. I thank Dara Joy for the entangling webs she creates for everyone to enjoy.

Summary: Adolescents in love
Review: We waited almost two years since the publication of Mine to Take for this? Two immature adolescents who like kissing and touching each other and who tease each other like 12 year olds? Who would be attracted to either of these people? Dara Joy is a fairly weak writer in the sense that her use of language and her character development range from not very good to terrible. But her imagination is good and her sex scenes are terrific. This book lacks imagination and interesting sex, so what's left? A limp, non-mystery with obvious and predictable plot twists. Also, I got tired of hearing about how cute-eccentric-sexy-intelligent-nonlinear the male and female protagonists were; those traits should come through in the dialogue and character development, but don't, so of course the author has to tell us so.

I suppose the references to Yaniff and Rejar mean these stories will intersect at some point. I'd rather leave Zanita and Tyber behind for good after this lame effort, and see Dara Joy stick with the much more interesting and entertaining Matrix of Destiny series.

Summary: I love a good sequal.
Review: Dara Joy has managed to capture the perfect sequal to "High Engery", with "High Intensity". She has put a new dimenison to naughiness with her antics. Tyber and Zanita are a perfect match for each other. I couldn't wait to find out what they would do next and I could see where the reference to "The Thin Man"s Nick and Nora Charles fit them to a tee.

I have found Dara Joy's writing to be reviting and inventive in the past and this one did not let me down. I am eagerly awaiting her next book.

Summary: more matrix please!
Review: Okay, Dara Joy is my favorite author, so I want to give her her proper credit as a talented writer, however, High Intensity just didn't start my engine, like her other novels (i.e. Matrix of Destiny series). Tyber's sexy enough, and Zanita's zany enough, but the heat just ain't enough. As a former Nancy Drew fan, I can relate to a crazy ghost chase, but that's not what I was looking for. So please more matrix please...

Summary: WONDERFUL
Review: I believe I have purchased and read every one of Dara Joy's books and they are keepers. I wasn't sure what this one was going to about, but now I know. Its a sequal to High Energy, and its wonderful. Looks like Ms Joy maybe writing more books with her two main characters plus that terrific and crazy cast. Mills, Gegor, Cody and lets not forget Auntie. Ms. Joy I have to confess I like this series as well as the Matrix one. Please keep writing and using that great sense of humor of yours. I laugh when I read your books and I do not do that with every author that I read. Alot of authors take themselves way too seriously. I read for the enjoyment and lets face it in this world of ours a few laughs go along way. Thanks
