Rating: Summary: I laughed and couldn't wait to finish this one... Review: The name "The Deed" does pertain to what you think it does. The heroine Emma is married to a man for 2 years who never really consummates their marriage (thought they have "slept" together) and she want to have children. So what does she do.. well she actually asks the King to make him order her husband to "get the deed done" but he dies on his way to her. Enter the hero of the story ... A landless knight who has just been made a Duke - Amaury de Aneford. You will like him as he has no more idea how to treat a woman than she knows about the act of making children. Tou will also like her cousin Sir Rolfe and his friend Lord Blake (I hope Lord Blake gets his own story!) I really enjoyed this story and am now looking for her other books!

Rating: Summary: This is going to make you Laugh....Teriffic Review: This book was the best that I have read in a month. It was so funny and comical, but it really shows the difference in the thought process of a man and a woman. I couldn't stop laughing when Emmalene went before the king to have the king order her husband to have sex with her. I was laughing so hard my husband thought something was wrong with me. Then the part where the people are standing outside the door and yell "Is the Deed Done?" every two minutes was just cracking me up. So the jist of this little review is, if you love a good laugh and a cute story, READ THIS BOOK. But be forwarned that if you get embarresed about showing emotion in public, don't read this is a public place. This book is good for an evening by the fire or while your husband is watching so boring tv show on WW II planes. This book is a true delight to read and a must read for everyone.
Rating: Summary: Hilarious! Review: This book was too funny for words. There are several scenes that bring a grin to my face as I recall them but I won't mention them now so as not to spoil it for those who haven't had the PLEASURE to read this story. The secondary characters were used wonderfully in helping to create the story and bring about laughs. Some authors tend to try to hard to get a laugh from the reader but Lynsay Sands knows funny! *laugh Good Stuff!

Rating: Summary: Hilarious Review: This has to be one of the funniest books I have read in a long time. Lynsay Sands has managed to create an original plot, endearing hero and heroine, and good secondary characters. This is the story that got me hooked on this author. I won't go into the plot because it has already been explained. I will just say that if you want a good laugh, pick up this book.
Rating: Summary: Oh God I Loved This Book. Review: This is one of the funniest books that I have ever read. There are so many wonderful scenes. You have a heroine that is so naieve its almost unbelievable. But who's so sweet that you just have to love her. And you have a gorgeous Knight for a hero. And to me it all equalled a perfect book. I think this will always be one of my all time favorites. I absolutely loved this book.
Rating: Summary: Lynsay's debut into Romance was a knockout!! Review: When this book came out, I was running a bookstore that found 75% of its monthly income came from romance readers. I received the poster about three month before it's release and put it up on the wall - and sold dozens and dozens on preorder because of the poster. This was unusual since most of my regulars bought by authors they knew. I feared there would be a mass groan when they did not like this author that was totally unknown. Well, it was completely the opposite. They bought because of the cover, but everyone one of them came back and demanded to buy everything she had written. We had a lot of snarls, when they were told this was her first book, so we would have to wait until she wrote more. And she has been writing SUPER books ever since!! She gives you lovely, tender romances...but also, laughter so hard it brings tears to your eyes. Very few writers can move me to laugh out loud and Lynsay always does!! There is no writer like her today in the romance field, though I now see many trying to copy her. But her Emmaline and Amaury are gems. Her characters are engaging, charming and intelligent, but that does not mean they cannot find them in wildly humourous situations. I shall not spoil the fun about "the deed"....but leave the sheer pleasure for you to discover!!
