Dog Handling

Summary: short of the potential to be a good story
Review: this was a very muddled and embarrasing story. the book had potential as an interesting story of love after break-up while trying to find one's self in a new dating scene. however, every time "dog handling" was mentioned in a sentence, i winced. the author's attempt to incorporate the theme of "dog handling" was over-shadowing a potentially good story. the later scenes between the main character and her "dog" to be handled was short of a 1980's Sweet Dream turn of events when the ordeal comes to light. the whole story was resolved in an even more over-attempt to tie up the story. so predictable, it was embarrasing.
