Rating: Summary: NOT a dog! Review: Funny. Smart. Witty. Engrossing. All these things are what makes this book a definite read. I just loved how the character just picked herself up after her fiancee called off the wedding and went abroad. If only I could do something like that. Oh, well, I'll live vicariously through great novels like this!"Dog Handling" is one of the best books I have read all year, along with "Heartbreaker" and also "Confessions of a Socipathic Social Climber".

This book takes you through the ups and downs of one girls fantasies that become a reality. See her go from love strike out to love strike it rich. A great book any woman would enjoy!
Rating: Summary: A FANTASTIC READ!!... Review: Having second thoughts about her upcoming nuptials, Liv Elliot comes to terms with the fact that she will never have an illicit affair with Brad Pitt or a steaming office romance for that matter. So what if her sex life resembles that of a Buddhist monk, she has decorating her new home, throwing fabulous dinner parties, and winning mother of the year awards to look forward too. These desperate notions are thrown asunder when her good-for-nothing finacee calls off the wedding. Delirious with depression and on the verge of a full breakdown, Liv hightails it to the sun drenched shores of Sydney to reclaim her delusions of a better life. Upon arrival Liv meets an impish cast of characters whose irresistible charm help mend her broken heart and who teach her the secret skill of dog handling. To put it simply, men are dogs...treat them as such and they will not only chase you but they'll be at your feet. This hilarious, clever, charming tale will keep you turning the page and taking notes on how to apply this off beat ingenuity to your own life. Ms. Naylor's deft story telling is inventive; her characters are instantly relatable and fly right off the page. For those of you looking for a bit of fun and escape pick up Dog Handling and you won't be disappointed.
Rating: Summary: Simply Hilarious Review: Sit, stay, fetch, beg...Imagine for one second being able to control your man with those four simple commands. Sound impossible, not so! In Clare Naylor's latest novel her spunky heroine learns about love, life and the pursuit of happiness under the guise of dog handling techniques. This page-turning, laugh-out-loud comedy will leave you cheering in the end and begging for more!
Rating: Summary: Sexy and funny -- Naylor's best novel yet! Review: I have read and loved Clare Naylor's previous novels, Love: A User's Guide and Catching Alice and I couldn't wait to read Dog Handling. I was not disappointed -- Dog Handling is Naylor's best romantic comedy to date. Liv is one of the best heroines of this genre and the story -- treat a man like a dog and he'll be eating out of your hand -- keeps you turning the pages, especially when the petty game backfires and she gets more than she bargains for. There are some fun twists during the story that will keep you guessing. I recommend this fun novel to all chick lit enthusiasts.
Rating: Summary: Love Clare Naylor Review: I've enjoyed every Naylor book, and this was no exception. The story is cute, fun, and light. The characters were engaging, and I liked having the story move to Australia for a change. While there's nothing earthshatteringly different about the story - girl, boy, job - it's wonderful. I'd highly recommend this book and any other Naylor book for anyone looking for a fun, fast read.
Rating: Summary: Good chic lit with a change of scenery Review: Loved the atmosphere portrayed in the book above anything else. The plots for the majority of these books are the same, but they all take place in London or New York. I've been to both, I love both, but sometimes you just need a change. Not only did I stay interested in the book until the very end, but I'm now considering a trip to Australia because of this book...
Rating: Summary: Good light-reading Review: If you pick up this book expecting to get any sort of depth out of it, you will not get what you want. But if you need something to read by the pool or at the beach, this is your book! (Assuming you are a woman.) It makes you laugh, and sympathize for a woman going through a break up who reacts to it by making some drastic, yet confident, changes. Very cute story.
Rating: Summary: How to treat a man ... Review: Cute story. Not as good as some I have read recently but good none the less. This one has a different setting than most of the "Brit Chick Lit" books do. It is partially set in Australia and London. Liv is about to get married but she is having second thoughts. But, after some talks with her Mom and looking at photos she decided that the wedding is on. Only to have her fiancé call off the whole thing. This is devastating and causes her to become depressed to the point her boss makes her take a sabbatical (can I have that boss). So she joins her friend in Australia. This is where the fun begins. She fins an old Flame and decides she has always just wanted him. Then she sets out to get him by following here friends advice "Treat a man like a dog, and he'll be eating out of your hand". There are a lot of wonderful characters in this one including cross dressing gay investment bankers...
Rating: Summary: Great Summer Read Review: This book is fabulous! It's an entertaining summer read that keeps you interested and longing for a sequel! I recommended it too my best friend and she loves it as much as I do. Any girl who's life has ever gone off the course she planned for can relate to this book. I loved the adventure, romance, turmoil, and twist of fate. Don't pass this one up!!!!
