Summary: a book to share with friends
Review: I was at the airport and this book looked interesting and i bought it. I was very pleased! It was so funny and entertaining. I shared this book with a couple friends and we all thought it was really cool. I was really surprised with what happened though I would start to think one thing and then be completely thrown off. It was a great book. Buy it now and read it, you won't be able to put it down.

Summary: No difficulty here!
Review: I was surpised to read a reviewer suggesting that 'Americans might have difficulty with the slangs' in this fab book. I certainly didn't! I just thought the Englishisms added to the color.
It's a seriously fast paced novel with lots of twists and turns. It's 'Bridget Jones' meets 'Single White Female', set in a part of England we don't get to read about often, which makes an interesting change.
The plot is great - Jo leaves her long turn boyfriend expecting him to beg her to go back - only he doesn't. So what does she do? She invents a new identity and gets to know him all over again through email... Nice move. But what happens when Dan wants to meet with Jo's alter ego?
I loved it and can't wait for Kelly Harte's next one.

Summary: Interesting twists and turns
Review: Jo has broken off a long-term relationship, but she hasn't let go. What does she do? She pumps her ex's neighbor for information, of course. But is this neighbor reliable? Phony friends and email, parent troubles, and job shifts are just a few of the topics this book hits upon.

This is a little different than most of the Red Dress Ink books I've read. There are a few more characters and plot twists that keep will keep you reading late into the night, and you might even learn a lesson or two about relationships in the age of email and economic uncertainty. It's fun, fast, and a wonderful addition to this popular series.

Summary: Quite fun to read.
Review: Kelly Harte's "Guilty Feet" deals with the chaotic life of Jo, who left her live-in boyfriend Dan after he said she resembled her mother. Jo expected Dan to chase after her to apologize and beg her to return to him but unfortunately for her, she did not hear from him at all. Broken hearted, Jo had to move on. Soon, Jo found herself thinking more and more of Dan and she came up with a plan to stay in touch with him.... sort of anyway. Dan's work is to write reviews for music albums or performers, and Jo, who pretended to be a Sarah Daly emailed a question or two for Dan. Soon, Dan and Sarah were emailing each other constantly and Dan found himself to be drawn to Sarah Daly and wondered if it is really over between him and Jo. Things got more complicated when Dan's neighbor Libby was throwing herself at him.
It sounds quite complicated but once you start reading "Guilty Feet", you'll get the hang of it.

"Guilty Feet" is a fast-paced, lively and a fun chick-lit. The characters are likeable and plot is interesting and funny at times. I would say this is a slightly better than average chick-lit even if it is somewhat predictable.

Summary: Kelly Harte is guilty of GREATNESS!
Review: Of all the Red Dress Ink books I've read thus far ..., this one is by far my favorite. It's a cleverly written tale of a woman who left her boyfriend in haste and desperately wants to contact him. But both her pride and an adversary disguised as a friend keep her from doing so. Instead, she creates a fictional person, gives her an email account, and contacts her ex that way.

And there's more deception where that came from. This book will keep you riveted with its endless surprising developments and intriguing point of view. Friends turn out to be rivals, while enemies become allies. And virtually everybody is guilty of something. In short, it's a story about relationships, deception, revenge, redemption, and not growing up to be your mother.

Summary: There's a lot to this book
Review: OK, so you might be able to guess what happens at the end but this does NOT make the book predictable. I couldn't put it down and read the whole book in two days. A very good read and not just for the girls!

The main story is about Jo after her breakup with Dan. We nearly explode with frustration as the story unravels within a web of humorous and brilliantly written chance encounters. The story is actually gloriously simple but the author makes it gripping by introducing loads more exciting characters and situations ...

There's Jo's work which parallels her life - going well then not then picking up again; there's the subtle impact on Jo of her parents' relationship problems; there's her adoring Italian; there's her secretive correspondence with her ex by email; there's her relationships with her girlfriends and old enemies; there's her friends making out all around her; there's her shyness; etc.

There are so many clever and sometimes hidden links in the book. I particularly like the 'Englishness' of the book and I think it will go down well stateside.

Personally I'll be looking out for more by this unknown author and I highly recommend this book. Best gift I ever had.

Summary: A won't want to put down...
Review: Okay, I'm from England, so maybe I'm biased, but I see that this book has been nominated for an American award, and it really deserves it. It's one of the best of it's genre I've read in a long time. The plot is brillant: When everything seems to be falling apart, career, love-life, Jo gets in touch with her ex by means of a bogus email identity and discovers all sorts of things she never knew before - about Dan (the ex) AND herself.
Meanwhile Libby, a potential 'bunny boiler', tries moving in on Dan while at the same time pretending to be Jo's friend. There's temptation for Jo as well in the form a gorgeous Italian.
We see the story through three pairs of eyes - Jo's, Dan's and crazy Libby's, which keeps everything cracking along at a very fast pace.
There is not a single dull moment in Guilty Feet and I can't recommend it more highly.

Summary: Disappointed Feet
Review: The story had a promising start, but by the time I was about halfway through, it began to drag. From the 3/4 to the end... I was unhappy. It had such an interesting premise, but things just went to a very sour and entirely too neat end.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Could not put it down!
Review: This book was had me laughing out loud! It was one of the best books I have read in this genre in a long time. I would recommend it to anyone who likes romantic comedies and it keeps you on the edge of your seat!

Summary: A Fun Read
Review: This was a fun book to read. Though at first I wasn't all that into it. It seemed slow at times and then there was so much going on. But it grew on me. A character to really pay attention to is Libby. You'll wonder what she's up and why. I also liked reading about Leeds oppossed to London. You don't hear to much about Leeds so this was a breather from those books set in London. This is one of the better Red Dress Ink books that I've read. It's a great read.
