Rating: Summary: My fav of Dara Joy's. Review: Find "Rejar" and "Mine To Take" - you'll want to read them next.Paranormals aren't my thing, but I thought I'd try this. It's like Star Wars meets a Johanna Lindsey novel. Loved it! I didn't enjoy DJ's contemporarys (High Energy etc.) though her writing is always sexy.
Rating: Summary: Great Title For A Great Book Review: In "Knight of a Trillion Stars" Dara Joy starts writing about characters and places that become memorable for those who read the Matrix of Destiny series. Though there are other great writers of futuristic romance, this series is the best I've read. I'm anxiously awaiting Traed's story. Lorgin ta'al Krue is a gorgeous alien who comes to take the heroine, Deanna Jones (I didn't like the Adeeann business to make it sounds like Indiana) to another dimension where the laws of magic rules. You have to go into reading this suspending belief in reality as we know it, that is the name of the game! If you don't like stories like that, you won't like this story. There are great scenes contrasting culture between Deanna and Lorgin's worlds that make the book humorous. There is progression and recurring plot elements as good fiction should have. It's full of sizzling love scenes, and is a great stand alone love story. I read some of the not so favorable reviews and wondered if we'd read the same book. Deanna chooses Lorgin, but he is definitely alpha male and dominant.
Rating: Summary: Didn't expect this Review: This book had some truly horrible parts in it. she was man handled and this Hero was so sure that he knew what best for her and there for disregarded her feelings. SOME sweet moments, but they were few and far between!
