Rating: Summary: In Too Deep Review: This book is one of the best in the series so far. The story is funny, sexy, and exciting. The Hero is funny as hell and the heroine is cute and has an optimistic about life. She might be naive in a certain way but she's a quick thinker and a butt kicker.Compare to the the heroine in Hide and Seek Tally is alot smarter than Dalanie(which got so annoying). I love this book so much I suggest the reader to read it and find out what I'm talking about. Hold on to your seat with the sex scenes too. Enjoy...
Rating: Summary: Oh, Pooh! Review: This book is totally Mills and Boon, only thicker. Not suitable for mature readers who are used to novels by writers such as Judith McNaught, Jude Deveraux, Teresa Medeiros, Christine Feehan, Linda Howard, ..well you get me.Maybe it was just this book, I don't know. I might try another book of hers just to see if she's what her fans says she is. All the best for your next book, Ms. Adair... :)
Rating: Summary: in too deep Review: This book was magic : a beautiful love story and a wonderful end which still amazed me. If you want to read one of Cherry Adair's book, try this one you won't be betrayed by the story : a former soldier (he avoids all blondes since his former blonde girlfriend try to kill him) and a pretty blonde (who wants to begin a new life without her protecting brothers) meet together in a deep forest. The hero knows his life is in danger and she fells in love with him instantly but he resists.... Cherry Adair managed the suspense till we discover the disease of the heroine and her fragility.... even the dog adds a touch of humour in this book full of suspense, hot scenes, crying instants, gun shots.... Buy it you won't regret it...
Rating: Summary: Not a Keeper Review: This is a book with major problems: the characterizations are shallow and the plot line thin. Add to that an unsympathetic hero and a trite story line. The romantic scenes are hot, but not especially original. And the inconsistent elements abound. I really enjoyed HIDE AND SEEK. I did not enjoy IN TOO DEEP.
Rating: Summary: Wow! 3rd in the series Review: This is a wonderfully exciting series of books. It starts off with KISS AND TELL. The second book is HIDE AND SEEK. They all tie in with each other although they could also stand alone. The series is about the Wright family. There are several brothers who are all strong, dangerous, secretive men and thier sister Marnie who is just as strong and spunky. They are all somehow involved with a agency called T-FLAC which deals with ridding the world of international terrorists and crimnals. Its extremely exciting and the books are a constant suprise. This is Michael Wright's Story. He is a deeply scarred man who is determined to see kill the man who is responsible for his best friend's death. He has come to Paradise Island to finish his mission only to find a slight unexpected problem, Tally Cruise. Tally is the daughter of the man Michael has to kill. Tally has never had a relationship with her father. He suddenly issues an invitation to her and she jumps at the chance to finally get to know him. Tally is thrilled until the boat she is on explodes, someone tried to kill her in her room and she finds herself falling for a man who is using her to get to her father. Tally soon discovers an inner strength and battles alongside Michael for what is right. Michael is stunned by Tally. He wants her desparetly but is strugling with his desire to love her and his need to use her to get to her father. He has a strong sense of duty to both her and his mission. He will overcome his fears to save her and become whole again. I really enjoyed this book. Its filled with passion, excitement, action and humor. I can't wait for more in the series.
Rating: Summary: Steamy, Fast Paced, and Fun Review: This is book three in a series by Ms. Adair and just like her previous books the storyline is fun, the characters are likable and quirky (like Tally's need to sing off key when she is scared), and the story is still very sexy. This is the older Wright brother's story. Each story stands on it's own so you will not have had to have read the previous two titles (Kiss and Tell and Hide and Seek). A fun way to spend the weekend and I look forward to other titles by this talented author.
Rating: Summary: Too much violence, not enough romance Review: This is the third book about members of the Wright family finding the love of their lives. Of the three, Kiss and Tell, Hide and Seek and this one, I like the Kiss and Tell featuring Marnie Wright best. It is more of a romance, while the other books are too action packed for my likening, with storylines that are totally over the top, bordering on the ridicilous in Hide and Seek. This book, "In Too Deep", is filled with people beating the hero and heroine up. Around every corner seems to be lurking someone, ready to attack the heroine Tally. And although she squeezes or kicks every attacker in the nuts, she gets a thorough beating, which is all described into every gory detail, as are the beatings that the hero, Michael Wright, must suffer towards the end. All this violence spoiled the book for me. Even the better "romance"scenes could not made up for it, such as the verbal bantering between Michael en Tally, and one of the best ... scenes ever: how a pearl necklace can give a lot of satisfaction....!
Rating: Summary: An Island..An Unfinished Mission..The Enemy's Daughter... Review: This is the third book in the Wright Series beginning with 'Kiss and Tell' and 'Hide and Seek'. EXCELLENT is about what sums this actionpacked, rollarcoaster ride from the tropics!!! WOW! Having loved the first two books, I have to say, this is my favorite! The action is literally nonstop and filled with enough plot twists and tension to keep you up all night or day reading. The romance sizzled and the locale was so different and unique! This third installment is about the eldest of the Wright children, Michael, ex-Navy SEAL. Michael is bent on distroying the man responsible for murdering his partner and causing him to lose his job in the SEALS. He will do anything to find him and use anyone...including the monster's daughter Tally Cruise... Michael is caught off guard when he spots her on board a ship right off the coast of the island her father owns and even more shocked when it blows up right in front of him leaving her swimming in seas rough with a typhoon coming. Should he save her...or leave her to the elements... Tally Cruise is excited about being invited to her father's island called Paradise, aptly named she thinks. What she doesn't expect to find when she gets there is that he is nowhere to be found and no one seems to want her there. Nothing new to her she knows, her and her father haven't exactly seen eye to eye and haven't seen one another in years. Still she wants to mend bridges and try for a reconsiliation. So what is going on with her boat blowing to smitherines? Who is the mysterious stranger pulling her from the turbulant waters in the nick of time? She senses this guy isn't what he seems and is determined to find out who is he and why he is here on the private island. What Tally doesn't expect is to find out more than she bargained for and the island holds more secrets that King of Tut's tomb. Who is her father? WHAT is he? Racing against the clock, Michael must make the decision of his life...pay the man responsible for his best friend's death and his own nightmare back or save himself and the enemy's daughter... Unbelievable! Worthly of five stars! Tracy Talley~@
Rating: Summary: Very Good! Review: This was my first book by Cherry Adair, and I was not too sure about it. When I started reading the book I was very surprised. She writes very well and this story is funny, happy, and sometimes makes you sad. I really enjoyed it. You will love this book too. It's great, stop thinking about it and get to reading it.
Rating: Summary: One of the Wright brothers falls in love Review: We met the Wrights in Kiss and Tell, and In Too Deep tells the romance of Michael Wright and Tally Cruise. Michael has been injured physically and emotionally by the events a year ago that saw his partner killed. The villain they as Navy SEALs were after was Tally's father, who on that occasion foiled them. Now recovered as much as he can physically, but out of the SEALs because of his injuries, Michael has vowed to get his man. Tally has apparently been invited to her estranged father's island to get to know the man at last, and she's looking forward to it and dreading it in both parts. With a few days to - er - kill before her father arrives, Tally meets Michael as a result of an accident at sea. Instantly attracted to him, Tally is brave enough to take what she wants, knowing it will be just one time. But Michael of course has an agenda that she doesn't know about, and it's in HIS interests to take advantage of Tally and play on the attraction until her father arrives. No, it's not a 'nice' situation, but an interesting dilemma. While the whole 'Navy SEAL and villain on private island' scenario might not be something likely to happen in everyday living, books are often about escapism and here's a good example. The two central characters remain the focus of the story, but there is plenty of them to do and enough intrigue and suspense to keep the plot developing briskly. Lots of heat between Michael and Tally too. Tally is honest, brave and engaging. Michael is a wounded warrior with issues to resolve. A lot of action, a lot of emotion, a lot of conflict, and a lot to work through. I enjoyed the book - a lot.
