Rating: Summary: Get Read. . . Excellent Story line Review: As with the entire Hideaway series, this is an excellent book. Rochelle has the ability to write page turners with great romance, great but complex relationships and with added suspense. The entire Hideaway Series should be read and held. One does not find these types of characters with some much strength in many epic novels. It is a must read for anyone but especially if you like reading about comptemporary Africian American characters. By the way, another book is forthcoming in the Hideaway series with the little girl who started it all.
Rating: Summary: Great Review: Can Ms. Alers go wrong!! Great, Excellent book. She has a way to make the characters come alive. Serena was tempting to David and David was tempting to Serena. Good match. Read the book. It is worth the time.
Rating: Summary: Heaven Sent is one of Alers best. Review: From the beginning to the end this was a great book. Rochelle Alers painted such a vivid picture of the characters that you could see them in your mind as you read the words. Simply the best!
Rating: Summary: Heaven Sent is Truly Heavenly Review: Heaven Sent has you glued to it from the very beginning. The story takes place in Costa Rica, but you'll have to read the book to find out what happens between the two lead characters. If you love romance novels then this is the book to read. A co-worker, who is a native of Costa Rica, read the book and said Rochelle Alers did a great job describing her homeland. My co-worker and I would like to thank her for a book well written.
Rating: Summary: Excellent !! Review: I absolutely loved this book as the continuation to the Coles, Sterlings, and the Kirklands stories. However, in reference to "Heaven Sent'' I didn't really care for the ending because of Regina's marriage to a man who is some fifty-odd years older than her tender age of ninteen.
Rating: Summary: Awesome! Review: I always enjoy the distinct images of landscape and decor. I was affirmed by the appreciation for various types of physical beauty in people of color and varying age groups. I was very attracted to confident, talented, and wealthy David Cole as well as the men in the Cole family who protect and adore their women. I was delighted by the balance of strength and vulnerablity displayed in the characters. I was warmed by the sense of humor exchanged between David and Serena. I am very happy with the Hideaway Legacy and looking forward to reading more.
