Summary: Absolutely wonderful!!!
Review: I loved the two main characters. Kiernan was amazing and Enid was incredibly funny and real. If I wasnt a Christina Dodd book lover -I definitely would be now!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A very tender story.
Review: I rather found the title sort of out of place, but none the less, it made sense. The book was very well written and the characters are very likeable. If you actually havent read the summary in the dust jacket of the hardcover version of the book you will fall from your chair, when you find out the major secret that Dodd, gives her readers almost at the middle. In my personal opinion, i was dissapointed to have read the summary inside the dustjacket, but alas, i have learned my lesson.
Enid is a very nice, and strong woman. she has gone through a lot and had the misfurtune to stumble upon Steven Maclean, her husband, when she is very young (17). She has an infatuation with him, but she soon learns that he is nothing but a selfish party boy, who also happens to be very jelous of his cousin Kiernan Maclean who is the head of the Maclean clan in Scotland, and despises Enid thinking of her as a gold digger, but Steven leaves her and she then becomes a nurse and moves to the house of a very interesting old lady, which she actually appreciates, that is until she receives news, 10 years later, that her husband has been found, but is gravely injured and to top it all off, he has amnesia. The story is more complex, but thats the core of it. I tremendoulsly enjoyed it, and could barely put it down. Definitely recomend it. Very good twist as long as u dont read the summary inside the dustjacket, thus U HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! hehe

Summary: Good Read
Review: I really enjoyed this book. I have enjoyed most of the Governess Bride series and this book was no exception. I really liked Kiernan MacLean as the hero. I thought he was very brave, witty, and just nice. Enid sort of annoyed me as a heroine. She was a good nurse, but I thought her reasons for refusing MacLean were just kind of lame. I enjoyed meeting MacLean's family though. Lady Bess smoking a cigar was very funny. I want to know what happens with MacLean's sister Caitlin, so I'm hoping we get a book about her next. Throckmorton and Celeste are revisited in this book, and whether or not you liked them in In My Wildest Dreams, I think it is always nice to revisit old characters. Anyway, if you want a fast read, but an enjoyable one, read Dodd's latest offering.

Summary: Dodd just keeps getting better
Review: I've enjoyed all the books in this series and this one is even better than the last. Strong heroine, sexy hero, compelling story. I read it in one sitting. Highly recommended!

Summary: Disappointing
Review: I've enjoyed Christina Dodd's Governess Brides series, so I enthusiastically picked this title up when I saw it on a used book rack. Alas, I was very disappointed. Enid and MacLean have so much potential, but it was sadly underdeveloped. The "twist" with Stephen and Kiernan was telegraphed from the beginning, but never satisfactorily explained. (WHY did Throckmorton send for her?) MacLean's recovery of his memory came in a flash and very unbelievably, in my opinion, and his treatment of Enid afterwards was highly inconsistent. Finally, the ending was also completely obvious and the "resolution" with Enid's dowry came across as tacked-on and poorly done. Altogether, I wasn't happy with the plot or execution, although the characters were mostly enjoyable to read.

Summary: Her best yet!
Review: I've read a lot of Christina Dodd's work, but this is definitely her best book so far. Enid and Kiernan are a perfect match and really made me laugh. You won't regret this.

Summary: She Made Me Love Him
Review: If there's one thing I don't like, it's an overbearing hero, but since I love amnesia stories, and plots about estranged couples reuniting, I decided to give Lost in Your Arms a try. I found myself gritting my teeth at the hero's behavior when I started the book, read on (especially since I really liked Enid) and by the end of the book I was in love with him! What a man! Great job, Ms. Dodd!

Summary: Linda Howards' White Lies
Review: Sorry folks, but this is the historical version of Linda Howards's book WHITE LIES. This is the second time (in a row) that Ms. Dodd has used the plot of someone else's book or movie. Her last book was a remake of Sabrina.

Summary: SUPER -CHARGED ROMANCE
Review: The chemistry between the hero and heroine is hot enough to be proclaimed a fire hazard. Yummy story with all the ingredients of an over-the-top romance: sacrifice, loyalty, betrayal, suspicion and super-charged mutual attraction. I hated it to end!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Don't Judge a Book by it's Cover
Review: The cover, I thought, was beautiful and the best thing about the book, really.

I've read several of Christina Dodd's books (and most of them I liked), but this one is my least favorite. For a spy/espionage type romance, I didn't find it all that exciting.

Kiernan became particularly annoying once he remembered who he was. I did like Enid as a heroine, however. She was the best thing about the book.

Maybe next time...
