Summary: Liar's Game Review
Review: Liar's Game was the first Eric Dickey book I had read. I was captivated by the characters. The characters were so lively that you felt as if you knew them or someone like them. I read this book in three days. I was really captured in the stories. It is a great book. I feel it is definitely is worth your time. It will only take a few days; however, the characters will remain with you so when you read his other books you'll remember them. Also try Cheaters. I'm in pursuit to read the others.

Summary: OFF THE SCALE!
Review: What fan of EDJ WASN'T waiting for this book to come out. As expected I was not disappointed What I love about his style of writing is that you can literally picture everything happening in the book. I thought Dana, regardless of her facade, was emotionally immature. Very real characters. What was really going on with Womack's wife though? A must read!

Summary: And another good one from Eric Jerome Dickey
Review: As an EJD reader, I can say I enjoyed this book, not as much as his others, but it was good overall. I appreciated the fact that he took a very realistic aspect of realationships and played it to the fullest. Lies.....Lies get you nowhere but into trouble. Dana and Vince appear to have a decent relationship, one that neither of them can believe is so good. But once you create a base which is not sturdy, you building will eventually crumble. This book basically tells you to be truthful with your mate and yourself upfront and the chips will fall where they may...Positive or Negative, but at least you know the air is clear from JUMP. EJD also manages to intertwine other characters that help Dana and Vince grow as individuals. But while all the "DRAMA" between Dana and Vince happens, they still manage to also help their friends out too. Applause from a book well written.

Summary: Liar's Game
Review: I enjoyed Liar's Game, Mr. Dickey kept it real throughout the entire book, I was able to relate to all of the characters. It was hard to put the book down.

Summary: You have done it again!
Review: You have hit a home run, made a touchdown, hit a hole in one,and slam-dunked it with Liar's Game. From Vince the sperm donor who wants to desperately be a father. Dana the New Yorker who wants to be better than average... Gerri the single mother who wants to hold on to her youth. Womack who loves him some Rosa Lee but has forgotten how to express it to her. Rosa Lee who really wants to be just Rosa Lee. Harmonica who has been there done that. Naiomi who is at a major cross roads in her life. Juanita who was out to lunch during the lesson on how to treat a woman. Malaika who has her panties in a wad and Kwanzaa who can't quite put her finger on it.

The depths of characters are beyond belief; the raw emotional turmoil, which is reflected in each character, how those emotions affect relationships, friendships, and life. Show without a doubt you are truly doing what you were called to do. The entertainment I received and the lessons that I learned with Liar's Game will stay with me. You are becoming more and more accomplished with each book. I am impressed to say the least.

Summary: Disappointed
Review: EJD is one of if not the most talented author I know. As soon as his books hit the stands - I'm there! (it's on my calendar months in advance).

But I have to say that this book was not his best work. The story line was slow, neverending and boring. It was a very slow read. The only way I could finally finish it was to take with me on a 6 hour plane ride! EJD you are still the best - but this one was not your best.

Disappointed in Queens, New York

Summary: Not Eric's Best
Review: This book had entirely too much Drama for me. Vince and Dana's relationship was not very strong from the start. And their previous relationships did not help the situation get any better. There was a lot of distrust between them.

Some of the issue were not believable. I know that is fiction but come on. I was hoping that somebody had a drama free life. It shocked me that every character had a distrust factor.

Overall the book was good, but not as good as his previous books. The reviews will let you know to each her/his own.

Summary: ANOTHER GREAT BOOK
Review: Outstanding writer!!!! I've read all of Eric Jerome Dickey's novels and can honestly say I have not been disappoint. Liar's Games hits a very important topic... Love and Betrayal. We see the true side of Dana when she is told the truth by Vincent that he was once married and have a little girl. As always, all the characters are exciting. There is a lesson that everyone will learn from this novel. Just remember the wise advise Harmonica gives Vincent in LIAR'S GAME.

Summary: Another great read
Review: I am a serious EJD fan. As soon as his books are published, I get them and usually neglect all my other responsibilities until I finsh them. "Liar's Game" continues the tradition of hilarious situations and interesting characters and a roller- coaster ride plot. However much I liked "Liar's Game," it did not knock "F&L" or "Cheaters" off my favorites pedestal. If you are a new EJD reader, buy them all and clear your calendar; to the veterans, buckle down until next year when the new one will appear!
