Review: Cade goes in search of a mechanic/navigator for his driving team in an unlikely place; a (...)Butt contest. His hope is that TZ Blake is not the "pretty boy" contestant; but he never expects TZ to be the [attractive] woman who table dances to get his attention. Taryn Zane Blake entered the contest as a last resort to save her garage. Crewing with Cade is a better option, except she doesn't get the jargon of racing, tends to color in the log book, and is all too attracted to this irritating man. Still, he needs her and her vintage 'Stang. She needs the money. It's a match made in... maybe not Heaven, but somewhere. There's also a spirit trying to get to Heaven along for the ride, TZ's aunt who has unfinished business. (...) Summary: This author has a new fan in me!
Review: Cade Nyland was furious when a lady put a dent in his classic black Sting Ray. He was determined to win his twelfth road rally race of the year. All he needed was to hire a mechanic to ride along side him. Word had it that TZ Blake was the best. But Cade thought TZ was a male. WRONG!
TZ Blake entered the tight (...)competition to win enough money to keep her auto repair shop open. She ended up splitting the prize money with her friend, Kimmie, and getting a high paying position as Cade's navigator in the SunCoast Run for four days. Due to someone tampering with Cade's vehicle, they take to the read in TZ's '67 Mustang ... and the 'Stang has a mind of its own.
Kimmie has her heart set on another rally racer, Rhett, and finances him in exchange for allowing her to tag along. And they aren't the only two odd couples in this race. Add to this that someone out there was playing for keeps. The SunCoast Run was being sabotaged big time. They way things are going no one might win this race!
***** Great story! I'm not a big auto fan, but I was hooked to the story from the first page. The author has a witty sense of humor and plainly shows throughout the entire book. A fast paced book, with spectacular secondary characters, and lots of laughs. Excellent! *****

Summary: Hip! Fun! Sassy!
Review: Drive Me Crazy is an enjoyable read! From the fun-in-the-sun tight butt contest to the end of the road rally in Key West, this romantic comedy will keep your motor running. Cade and TZ are hot together. Many of their antics will have you laughing out loud. I look forward to Ms. Angell's next book.

Review: every once in a while my sister-in-law gets on a tangent, that males can read romance (not all romance, but certain authors) and actually love it. Have to say, Kate Angell is an Angel in this!
I used to do cross country car rallies and really enjoy the fun. Angel really knows the territory! Reminder me of that old Avengers episode "Barrel of Fun" where Steed and Mrs. Peel have a go at it.
Kate's writing is bright, witty and so down to earth. I love the hero and heroine, but the secondary characters including that 'Stang, steal the show.
I am eagerly await more from this author. Male Pig that I am...lol

Summary: Most charming and fun book!!
Review: Getting this book as a birthday pressie, I didn't really know what to expect. But my friend has recommended good books in the past and this one is certainly not an exception. Vivid characters with different personalities cleverly mixed together. You have Cade Nyland who's determined to win the rally and on the surface he doesn't seem to care about much else. Then there's TZ Blake who has inherited a car, an auto repair shop and a debt from her aunt. Together they will enter the rally in TZ's car, after a little begging from Cade's side. But TZ's vibrating '67 Mustang seems to have a mind of its own and without a real navigator this can go wrong, very wrong. A fun and sexy book where most of the story takes place on a road rally, in a car that has a personality on its own. The book consists of quick comments, fun action and a clear attraction between the different character that makes you smile from the very first page. It's definitely a must real and you're guaranteed to laugh. A most talented writer who will hopefully have another book out soon. Can't wait to see what she comes up with next!

Summary: What are you thinking?
Review: I bought this because the reviews were really good and it looked like fun. I am now two thirds of the way through the book and I'm giving it up. I never write these reviews, but I'm feeling compelled to warn the world that this is not a very good book. The characterizations are thin and the dialogue is just painful. I'm embarrassed for these poor characters that they have to say these things.

Summary: Hard to respect a heroine like this
Review: I really think Kate Angell has a great story--but I can't get past the beginning. The heroine and hero meet in a tight butt competition. She's wiggling her naked bottom in front of a roomful of men to earn money. Okay, she doesn't drop her pants completely, but I cannot admire a woman who does this. The secondary female is almost naked in a V-string and little else--and she claims to be a virgin. She may be physically but she's a tease and being a virgin does not make her a moral person. As much as I wanted to like TZ (the heroine), I keep remembering the first pages about her. Please understand--I am not a prude. I don't mind a hot read or sex scenes, but I don't like my heroines shaking their naked bodies for men in exchange for money.

Summary: a fun time!
Review: I used to do car ralleys and they were blast, so when I saw this book was using that as the story line I was excited, though not sure how romance on wheels can bloom. I must say Ms. Angell not only is 'hell on wheels', she sizzles in the romance department, too. But the strongest thread is the humor of this tale.
I'm placing an order for Cade and the 'Stang both! Every gal needs them!

Summary: a wickedly funny book
Review: I was given this book and told I had to read it. If you are lucky, someone will do the same to you! But my advise, don't wait for a kind soul to do you a favour, rush out and get one for yourself. The cover was so funny, reminds me of that talking car in the adverts, but that was just the start. From page one, TZ waltzed in and, well, drove us all crazy. I loved her! It's funny, it's perfect fun for that lazy Summer day at the beach.
