Summary: Love Was There All The Time
Review: Melanie Schuster has produced another "red-eye special"! You know, one of those novels that make you stay up 'til the wee hours of the morning trying to finish "just one more chapter." I am definitely hooked on this author's writing style and with this latest novel she gives her readers a truly heartwarming story.

In Let It Be ME Ms. Schuster takes us back to visit that magnificent Deveraux Clan. This time it's the avowed playa Marcus Deveraux who gets knocked off his feet by his love for Vera Jackson. After years of being best friends, Marcus and Vera slowly come to terms with the fact that their love for each other was there all the time.

As always Ms. Schuster's fresh writing style helps to thoroughly captivate the reader. She places her characters in real life situations and presents well developed main and secondary characters. I can hardly wait to read her next offering!

Summary: Too real
Review: The first thing that made me fall in love with Ms. Schusters style of writing was the fact that she was able to make me believe in the characters and the situations. With so many romance writers The characters love, they loose the love and get it back again for a happy ending. Its so formulaic, but Ms Schuster makes you come to know each character, yet you not only learn the character, but an entire picture of their homes, cities, lives and dreams are painted crystal clear for you. It always makes sense and never stumbles. Being an avid reader of romance novels I often read books where writers forget what they have written and details get blured. Blame it on sloppy writing or bad editing whatever the reason you won't find it in any of Ms Schusters books. Often in the area black romace, writers cover issues that are not true to black society.
Not the case with any of the Melanie Schuster books. Every nuance of the character makes you say, my God I know that person, thats happened to me or I wish that would happen to me. This book like her others does not let you down. Romance readers of all races will love Let It Be Me. I am eagerly awaiting the next book.

Summary: Kudos to Ms. Schuster
Review: This is less of a review and more of a thank you to Ms. Schuster for yet another wonderful story! I've avoided reading romance novels for years because the story lines and situations have always seemed so far fetched. I've truly enjoyed reading about such "real" characters as the Cochrans and Deveraux's, and the colorful cast of friends and acquaintances that add flavor to an already strong story.

Summary: GREAT AND EXCITING
Review: This was such a great book. I enjoyed reading about Marcus and Vera's story. Ms. Schuster is added to a list of authors, whose books I will absolutely purchase no matter what the storyline is, because the author always produce such great books. I have followed the Deveraux family from the first book and I must say that I have not been disappointed. Ms. Schuster, keep up the good work and I am eagerly awaiting Angelique's story and I hope there will be a story for Paris as well.
