Review: this book was absolutely captivating! once i picked it up i just couldnt put it down! i read it all saturday & saturday night. i took my phone off the hook, sat down, and read! if you like Barbara Michaels usual romantic suspense novels, you'll love this! its her usual romantic suspense except this time, the culperet is far from obvious and Haskell has two possible love interests! My suggestion: take a day off, sit down and ENJOY!!!

Summary: A Book That Can Not Leave Your Hand
Review: This book was amazing, I could not put it down. Not even for a minute. It took me less than two weeks to read it all. The main character Haskell is a young 22 year old woman in search for her real Father, and the mysterious death of Leah, her mother. Once you think you have the answers, you will be surprised. The ending was good, surprising, but good. Haskell rules in this book , just because she survives alot. I reccommend this book to anyone. I am an avid Stephen King fan, and now I am a fan of this author, Barbara Michaels is a terric writer, I am going to look for another book by her now. WOW WHAT A BOOK !!!!

Summary: A Good Read!
Review: This was a good book. I love romantic/suspense, mystery storylines and this one kept your attention through to the end. I love a good surprise ending too! My favorite author is Sherry A. Mauro, another great storyteller of romantic/suspense but now I'm adding Ms. Michaels to my list!

Summary: Not especially super, but a good book all the same.
Review: Though I love Barbara Michaels books, this is not one of my favorites. It is fascinating though, and the character developement is better than in some of the other books. The ending is certainly a shocker, though not as much as some of her books. I would certainly recommend it, but if you really want a tricky ending or a truly satisfying read, try INTO THE DARKNESS or WINGS OF THE FALCON
