Rating: Summary: ...a rousing and sexy tale of true love. Review: Honey Malone is running from an unknown assailant. Sick and disoriented, she crashes her car through a fence and into a Kentucky lake. When she awakens, she finds herself surrounded by the biggest, the handsomest, and four of the stubbornest men she has ever met. But only one of them can make her desire burn red-hot. Dr. Sawyer Hudson pulls the beautiful unconscious woman from her half-submerged car. He doesn't understand the immediate and unreasonable attraction he feels for this mystery woman. When he learns her life is in danger, he will stop at nothing to protect her. Lori Foster writes a rousing and sexy tale of true love. SAWYER is the first in her four book Buckhorn Brothers series for Temptation. In this book, the author introduces us to Morgan, Jordan, Gabe, Sawyer, and Sawyer's son Casey. They all sound intriguing and I look forward to each of their stories. Lori Foster gives her readers everything they could want in a romance novel. She fills her pages with laugh-out-loud humor, breathless tension and sizzling sex. Look for Lori's interview in the June 1st issue of Romance Communications. She tells of her current works, her motivation and how she got started writing romance. She also mentions the cover art of SAWYER. I believe Harlequin did the author and reader a disservice with this cover. It really is awful and has no resemblance to any of the characters. Merrilee Terry
Rating: Summary: Don't judge the book by its cover! Review: I almost didn't buy this book decause the cover was so off-putting (pity the model and the clearly "starving" artist). But, my enjoyment of Lori Foster pushed me past the superficial and I loved it! Foster introduces the heroine, Honey, with the right amount of pathetic vulnerability while instilling the hero, Sawyer, with the strength and protectiveness we love to fall in love with. But as Honey heals physically, her character toughens to a delightfully strong female who is more than capable of handling 4 stong, overprotective men. Foster's romance is wickedly HOT and delicious! I fell in love with Sawyer and can't wait to do the same with Morgan, and the rest. If this series continues on the same formula, it will rank right up on top with Nora Robert's McKade Brothers! Just rip the cover off before you begin...

Rating: Summary: Sawyer exceeded my expectations. Review: I have always enjoyed Lori's books. She consistently provides sexy amusing tales. Sawyer exceeded my expectations. Without sacrificing her trademark sexiness and humor she provided a deeper tale with well drawn characters that left me panting for more of these 4 wonderful brothers. The story's main focus was the relationships within the family, and she built a wonderful foundation for further character development throughout the four books. One of the characters that most touched me was Casey, Sawyer's fifteen-year-old son. He is the size of an adult and seems so grown. Yet you feel his longing for the mothering Honey can't help but shower him with. One scene epitomizes the sexiness and humor Lori is famous for. Picture Honey in a state of extreme embarrassment surrounded by all the brothers in various states of undress, with Morgan (the cop) totally unashamedly nude except for a gun. The brothers are oblivious of her dismay and stand there trying to convince her to stay with them. It was a hoot and all of the brothers are so sexy! I highly recommend picking this one up. It is going directly to my keeper shelf, as I wait impatiently for More. Angela Barker, UreviewIt
Rating: Summary: Sexy and fun, with a family feel! Review: I just loved SAWYER. It is a wonderful blend of family, fun, and sex!Sawyer saves Honey Malone when her car crashes into his lake. He is the only doctor in the small town of Buckhorn, so he takes her to his home (AKA office) to recuperate. The attraction between Sawyer and Honey is instant and intense. Nobody writes sexual tension like Lori Foster. Whew! For me, the best thing about this book was the entire cast of characters. Sawyer lives in a huge house with his 15 year-old son and his three fabulous brothers. Casey, his son, is a future heartbreaker. Morgan, the sheriff, is a huge, sexy, bad-tempered sheriff with a heart of gold. His story is next and I can't wait! Jordan is the quiet, intense, sexy animal lover. And Gabe is the youngest brother: a lazy, sexy, heartthrob handyman with too many women that he knows what to do with. They are all gorgeous, sexy, wonderful...mother hens. They gather around the injured, lost Honey Malone and 'adopt' her. Watching them do it makes you laugh and sigh. This is going to be a wonderful series. The brothers are sexy as heck, but honorable and family-oriented too. I can't wait to get my hands on them...er...the books!
Rating: Summary: Enjoyable romantic suspense Review: In Buckhorn County, Kentucky, Honey Malone took the turn to fast. Her car ended in the lake where Dr. Sawyer Hudson and his teenage son Casey rescue her although she is injured. She refuses to go to the hospital, but agrees to return with the two males to their home. Honey worries that Sawyer knows who she really is since he used her name. However, she realizes that he was probably using a generic name because he does not know who she is. Soon his three brothers join Sawyer as Honey tells them that an unknown person wants to harm her. Sawyer and his three siblings vow to keep his patient safe. However, even his Hippocratic Oath cannot stop the only doctor in the county and his fleeing client from falling in love. Still the assailant is determined and will not stop until their agenda is accomplished. SAWYER is the first of four tales starring each of the sexy hunky Hudson brothers. The fast-paced romantic suspense moves rather quickly while the lead couple is a passionate, intrepid duo. The support cast rounds out the tale by providing regional depth and background. Lori Foster has opened her quartet with a wonderful story that next month will follow with Sheriff Morgan's romance.
Rating: Summary: Another Sizzler by Lori Foster Review: Lori Foster has a dynamic talent that seems to grow with each word she writes. The stories sizzle, the characters are real, and the inter-family relationships make us evaluate ourselves and strive to be better! The bonds she ties in her books are so believeable, I expect to meet these people one day! Lori Foster is a talented writer, and I can't wait for the next book. Don't miss this wonderful series!
