Rating: Summary: I WANT MORE DANCER!! Review: About a year ago(?), when I was looking for Winter Fire, I tripped across Fire Dancer and Dancer's Luck. I saw the name Ann Maxwell & decided that I'd chance a more sci-fi bent on an Elizabeth Lowell book. I'm happy to say that was a great day in my life. When I finally found Dancer's Illusion, it got even better. Seeing the bond growing between Rheba and Kirtn set my heart aflutter all over again. Now... ... ... I'm not given to begging but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE continue the Dancer series, or if not continue, complete it for those of us who hope for the Future Bren & Senyasi alike!! What A Triumph Of A Book !!!!

Rating: Summary: enjoyable series Review: Ann Maxwell wrote three of the "Dancer" books in December 1982 and April and August1983 published by Signet ( Fire Dancer, Dancer's Luck and Dancer's Illusion) She created a wonderful fantasy world and a couple of characters that as in her other Sci-Fi books, have a relationship that is nothing short of wonderful and intense. I am sorry to say that I have waited 16 years for her to finish the series. So far as I know she has not done so. Despite this, readers will truly enjoy these books.

Rating: Summary: This a great story line, and I look forward to the next one. Review: As a great fan of Elizabeth Lowell,(ie.Ann Maxwell), I was really impressed with her sci-fi story line " Dancers". This is a wonderful read if you love sci-fi or romance. Ms. Lowell always delivers as a historical, contemporary, or futuristic writer. My only complaint is that unlike her other series, "Only...", "Enchanted..." "Warrior...", you are left hanging. I don't mind looking forward to the next character's story line after the one I've just finished reading comes out but I don't like to be left hungery. Oliver Twist's " please sir, can I have some more " leaves a bad taste in my mouth. On the other hand you can bet I'll be first in line to buy the next installment. Does anybody know when the next one is due?
Rating: Summary: Good to the last drop! Review: Dancer Illusion, is the last book in the Fire Dancer's seriers; it shouldn't be, but it is. It was as well written and imaginative as the first books. Your worst nightmares could not have taken you to some of the places that Rheba & Kirtn have found themselves; and yet Maxwell's books are not horror stories. The love story between the Fire Dancer and her Bren is pungent, strong and very sweet; and yet there is little or no sex in these books. The beings that they surround themselves with, hold their own special place in the readers heart. Nothing and no one is trivial. The girl can write! What a read!
Rating: Summary: I want the end too! Review: I also would love if she would finish this series. I read these books in the 80s and just gave them to my roomate who loves them as much as I did. We wish that she hadn't stopped before finishing the series. Does anyone know if she has written other sci-fi/fantasy under the names Ann Maxwell or Elizabeth Lowell?
Rating: Summary: Fantastic fantasy series of love, danger and magic. Review: I have all three of Ann Maxwell's novels in the Fire Dancer series and am eager for more. Maxwell has created a new world for readers to envelop themselves in, a world of sensuous beauty that sparks the imagination into new realms. I was happy to find that I was not the only reader who was enraptured by this series and I too hope that the series will eventually continue.
Rating: Summary: dancers illusion Review: I have enjoyed all of Ann Maxwell sci/fi books. I wish she would finish this series. I want to find out what happens in the Fire Dancer's story. I believe Ann Maxwell's sci-fi stories were one of the best I have ever read and i wish she had continued this series and any other sci-fi.
Rating: Summary: Please give us a conclusion! Review: I have read all three Dancer books. I am not usually one for SF but these books were wonderful. I have searched everywhere and I found that there is no conclusion. Don't leave us hanging here! Finish it PLEASE!!!!
