Review: It's hard to think of how this book could be funnier; it was the cover that caught my eye in the book store, but as soon as you turn the first pages, you're hooked! This book has one of the best closing lines I've read! I hope he comes out with more, soon.

Review: Chris Moore is a mad genius. He weaves together great storytelling with unique characters that are hip and funny. You can't pin down Moore to any genre. He mixes humor and action with supernatural elements. Where else can you find a talking fruit bat and South Sea village warriors who aspire to be tampons? Don't forget the transvestite navigator. Love Nun is his best book yet and if it's your first Moore book, you had better pick up his last three (otherwise you'll be making a lot of visits to amazon or your local book store, if you don't )

Review: Island of the Sequined Love Nun is the most original book I've read in years. It's classic storytelling, with more humor than any single book has a right to have, as well as some genuinely touching parts that may just bring tears to your eyes. (Big surprise, coming from Christopher Moore, who couldn't write a boring story if his life depended on it.) Love Nun is the most inventive, hilarious book I've seen in years. You will live less than a full life if you don't read it

Review: I've read funny novels, and I've read not-so-funny novels. This is one of the two funniest ones I've ever had the pleasure to read. It looks to be in sequence with the rest of Moore's hilarity, which means that the next one will prolly redefine my benchmark. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK UNLESS YOU ARE READY TO LAUGH OFF PARTS OF YOUR ANATOMY!!!

Review: Christopher Moore has rescued me from many of those terrible days at the office. To come home and prop your feet up and relax with one of his books is the ultimate cure. You're laughing uncontrollably within minutes and have forgotten all about the past 8 hours from HELL! He's so delightfully funny and weaves such perfect stories and characters into the ultimate reading adventure. If you've never read his work, I challenge you to pick up just one of them. I'm sure you'll find "Nobody can read just one!" I had the opportunity to meet Chris on this latest book tour. He is such a delight and truly talented. Review: Most books are either funny or have a good plot (not there aren't plenty that are neither...). ANYWAY. Christopher Moore manages to write very funny books with plots that would stand up even without the jokes. I loved his first three books (PRACTICAL DEMONKEEPING, COYOTE BLUE, and BLOODSUCKING FIENDS) and ISLAND OF THE SEQUINED LOVE NUN did not disappoint me. There aren't enough writers this good
