Summary: Suspensful, intriging, and full of passion and action!!
Review: This book was most definately a good read. At first, I wasn't feeling it. The cover was like so, so. But once I got into it, oh boy, it was on. The characters was described in such a way, I felt like I was right there when everything was going on. I'm not one to tell people details about a book, so I won't but what I will say is get the book!!!. It's great!!!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: It Was Ok but not Recommendable
Review: This book was Ok to read when you don't have anything better to do. The only reason why I gave it three stars was that it did have a good ending.

Summary: Entertaining
Review: This is the first novel I've read by Ms. Kitt and I have to admit it was a great, entertaining story. However, I didn't see much attraction between Gayla and Dak (the hero in the end). I thought she and Bill would've been together. And, Ms. Kitt also left us hanging on Gayla's and Bill's relationship. He proposed to her, she said no but you didn't hear any more about their relationship.

All in all, it was a pretty good story and I will check out her previous novels. "Significant Others" is next on my list.

Summary: Overcoming Hardknocks
Review: This may not have been one of my favorites from Sandra Kitt, but I still enjoyed the book. This was definitely one where you had to learn to love yourself before you can love someone else. Dak had to overcome alot of Hardknocks that was learned just from life!! I would give it a try.

Summary: Not "The Color Of Love"...But Ok.
Review: This was an ok book. Not what I am used to from Sandra Brown, because it was hard to really believe that Dak was in love with Gayla and vice versa, due to so many conflicts and obstacles. I agree with the reader from Philadelphia that it takes talent to write an entirely different type of story each time--but this story was the furthest from her previous work that I have ever read. I can't wait to read her next book--not based on this one, but in hopes that it will be similar to The Color of Love.

Summary: My first book review (Family Affairs)
Review: This was my first novel from Sandra Kitt and I enjoyed the story very much. The mother was a great additional to the story line, because she knew that all David needed was a mother's love. Her heart was real, full of love and very strong to rise her children plus one as a single parent. I JUST LOVE IT........

Summary: A good, solid story.
Review: This was not my favorite book by one of my favorite authors, but it was still definitely worth the time. What I like about Sandra Kitt's stories is that each one is different. I think it takes real talent to do that. Kitt has done a really good job in giving the reader a hero who was an ex-con! And he turns out to be one of the most honorable characters in the book. Another thing that I like is that she doesn't try to make everyone perfect in the story. I feel this lets me care about Dak and Gayla and what they were like as teenagers because they grew up to become mature adults. The reviewer who wanted to return the book missed a good story by not finishing it. Sandra Kitt is still one of the best black romance writers.

Summary: My first book by this author. I thought it was great!
Review: This was the first book I've read by Sandra Kitt. I picked it up at my girlfriend's house and I couldn't put it down. Kitt's characters are well developed, and I thought that the story -- while a little unusual -- was believable. It certainly kept my interest. I enjoyed this one so much that I'm going to read whatever earlier ones I can, and I'll be getting her future efforts as well.
