Summary: third book in a fresh look at romance via cyberspace
Review:

Bev and Max met online when they shared a CHAT. They CONNECT and begin an exchange of E-mail letters, which becomes more and more personal and intimate with each send. Even though Bev and Max fall in love through cyberspace, she is already married. Any permanent relationship in the mundane real world seems doomed to CRASH.

The "Cyberspace" romantic trilogy is a fun to read collection that provides a fresh look at budding relationships in the INTERNET-driven nineties. Readers who also enjoy the net will adore these books because the E-mail uses the symbols (emoticons, etc.) and vernacular of personal electronic letters. However, though the story line is enjoyable, it does not require deep thinking and easily could have been bound in one book ($6.00 vs. $18.00). Talented Nan McCarthy has taken a chance that readers will CONNECT and not CRASH with what is truly a diverting and amusing "new age" novel.

Summary: Enticing.... yet discouraging ending.
Review: Being a romantic at heart, I found the ending to be disappointing and too abrupt. Although it would have been difficult for Beverly and Max to live "happily ever after", I wish the author hadn't made the finale all "doom & gloom". It took me a few moments to realize that there wasn't "Book 4" on the way. I still thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy but just wish that Beverly & Max had a happy ending.

Summary: The Bridges of Cyperspace County with a surprise twist
Review: First off, do NOT buy one of these books without buying all three (Chat, Connect, Crash) at the same time - they really do have to be read all together. Secondly, do yourself a favor and don't download these books. Try to find them in book form becaue you'll want the originals to stay on your shelf, ready to be picked up and read again and again.
Finally, here's the reason you should read this series: it is an orignal, well-done and witty flirtation and eventually full-blown romance between a man and woman who meet online. This is the FIRST romance series I ever read which was written from a cyber perspective, complete with emoticons (a crash course in them, in fact, useful if you've not particularly computer-savvy). I've read others since then but this is still my favorite. If you don't have much time to read but love a good romance, this one moves quickly but is fullfilling and emotionally engaging. Be forewarned: Have a box of Kleenex nearby!

Summary: Max :(
Review: I could NOT believe ho this triology ended. I loved the books, they were great, i couldnt put them down, i read all three in one day, i felt like Max and Bev were people i knew, i felt like iw as apart of their love story. I saw a whole nother ending coming from things that were said earlier in the book, i did not see this ending coming at all, i had not been warned i wasnt ready for it, and it was like a punch in the stomach. I would love to have a 4th bokk written, i think that Nan left alot of open ends to write a 4th book with, i want to know waht happens to Bev. All three books are great, but dont buy one without all three at the same time, you will want to sit down and read all three. And be warned, the ending is extremly sad. But still good, done very tastefully.

Summary: Fantastic
Review: I found "Crash" to be an astounding end to the series. True, the ending was upsetting, but I didn't find that it was poorly done at all - if anything, the ending added to the quality of the book. I'm dying for a 4th, but unfortunately I don't see one coming, which is a severe disappointment as I've come to view Bev and Max as close friends of mine throughout the course of reading the trilogy. This book, as well as the other two installments, quickly found places among my favorite books.

Summary: Horrible ending
Review: I have to say that the whole series has been enchanting. I couldn't put the books down. Yet, I was horribly dissaponted with the ending, not to say it was not good, it was simply unexpected. I truly hope that there will be a fourth book! Interesting, romantic and extremely entertaining, CRASH is one of the best portrayels of true romance I've ever read.

Review: I loved the first two books in this series, and liked this one ...until the ending! It was a huge disapointment, and showed no respect for the characters (or readers) to end in the manner that it did.

Summary: Created a realistic picture of the online romance scene.
Review: I really enjoyed this book series. It was a nice change and I could relate to the characters, since I am currently involved in an online relationship myself. Granted the book was a little far fetched in parts, and my experience is lot different than the one portrayed in this series. As far the ending goes, I felt that it was left open for the reader to decide what happened to Bev and Max. Some people will see it as a "doom & gloom" ending, but I chose believe that Max wasn't on the plane that crashed and he made it to Bev safe and sound in Chicago to plan thier future together.
