Rating: Summary: YOU'LL CARE ABOUT THE DEVIL Review: A funny, seductive, delightful story. This one has a lot of heart and the story pulls you along at a rapid pace. You can read this one easily in one day. You won't want to put it down. Loved the secondary characters as well although the author betrays the plot at the end of the book as far as Reggie is concerned. Still a good one and a definite keeper. I'm going to check out MG's other books and look forward to the next Sinclair book.
Rating: Summary: For a rainy day. Review: All Eden wants is to take her vows and become a nun, but her Uncle wants her to take a different set of vows, wedding vows. To make it even more complicated Mother Superior thinks Eden should know all about the wicked side of life before she commits to being a nun. So Reggie, Eden's cousin, comes up with a plan. She should ask the Devil himself (a.k.a Damien) to tutor her in the ways of wickedness. As they spend time together they grow to love one another, though they both will not admit it to the other. Will Fate bring them together or tear them apart? The earlier I should think, since in this book fate goes by the name of Reggie. This is the first book I have read of this author, and though not the greatest story ever told it is good for a rainy day. And I will be picking up another book by her when i get the chance. The secondary characters were particularly entertaining, especially Eden's cousin Reggie. Though I think the author chickened out on him being gay and sort of went against the character she had created all in one sentence in the end. The two main characters, Eden and Damien, develop really well through out the book, as does their relationship. She explains their motives for being the way they are, and why they behave the way they do, which I liked a lot. I deducted the star because of the historical inaccuracy, a few minor gaps in the plot, and the entire Reggie thing in the end. However, Reggie will keeps you laughing through the entire book, and the relationship between Eden and Damien is sizzling hot. This book left me feeling happier when I put down. I highly recommend it.

Rating: Summary: Not quite as good as the second part of the series. Review: Damien Sinclair is the eldest of the three Sinclair Brothers, considered as the Devil himself in the London society; a man tortured by his mother's infidelities to his father, and the situation in which he finds himself, paying up his father's debts after his recent death. Eden Spencer, a beautiful young girl who is spending her first season in London society, although her uncle's whishes are for her to get married, hers are to go back to the convent in which she was raised, take her vows and become a nun; but first she has to experiment with things she's never done before; therefore that when Eden and her cousin Reggy conceived "The Plan", they could only think of one person for the job: "The Devil" himself. I liked the story, but unfortunately, the first book I read of The Sinclair's Series was Nicholas Sinclair story (Handsome Devil); after reading this story I was so fascinated by the author that I didn't hesitate in buying the first book of the series, to find out that after reading the second book I just didn't like the first one; the first things I noticed were the flaws in the Eden Spencer character, she had a weak will and it is just like at the middle of the book when you really notice her attraction for Damien Sinclair. Finally, the story is good, but if you would like to read a better story by the same author just buy Handsome Devil, after all you won't be missing any crucial part of the whole series by not buying this book; if you want to buy it anyway you won't be disappointed either.
Rating: Summary: I LOVED IT SO MUCH I READ IT AGAIN. Review: DAMIEN STOLE MY HEART AS WELL AS EDEN'S...I CANT WAIT TO READ HANDSOME DEVIL....
Rating: Summary: Damien is HOT! Review: Damien, in my opinion, is the perfect hero. The right blend of sexy, passionate, sweet (in a delectable way) and tortured. I expected Eden to be too sweet (having lived in a convent for six years) but she was another wonderful character, who managed to hold her own against the Devil. The ending made me laugh AND cry. Great book!
Rating: Summary: Devil May Care Review: Few of the historical romance have humor in them, This one did as well as a great story. I have read both in this series and await the final one with baited breath
Rating: Summary: A Real Treat! Review: For me, one word can describe Melanie George's writing style. Fresh. From the first page I thought "this isn't going to be your typical historical romance." There is just a different feel to Ms. George's book that made it a joy to read. Her characters are so real, I expected them to jump off the page, and she has a wonderful flair for blending many elements. DEVIL MAY CARE was a real treat and I'm looking forward to other offerings from this author.
Rating: Summary: a good book 1st in the series of Sinclair Brothers Review: I have enjoyed many of Melanie George's books and this was no exception. Its the first of three books about the devilish Sinclair brothers. This one is about the oldest brother Damien. He is a wicked, tall, handsom, rogue that takes on the job of teaching the innocent beauty ... We get to meet the other brothers briefly and we do gain insight on why the brothers are all "devils". I enjoyed the humor in this book so much that it had me chuckling out loud. The character of Reggie is perfect and quite a suprise. I really lok forward to the others in this series.
Rating: Summary: A fun read Review: I read this book about a week ago and fell in love with it. I hadn't tried Melanie before this, but I'm glad I picked it up. Devil May Care is a light, fast paced read that kept me entertained from beginning to end. Wonderful story. Can't wait to get her next.
