Summary: Sizzling love story
Review: I don't usually go for romance novels, but hey, when you're at the beach... This one I absolutely loved. The characters have much more substance and depth than typical for this genre, and the storyline is engaging. The plot thickens throughout, adding an element of suspense and mystery that keeps the pages turning. I couldn't put it down until the end. The hero and heroine are unforgettable. The supporting characters are well-developed and likeable, except for the sinister villain, but the authors go to great lengths to explain his motivations so that the reader can't help feeling a little sympathy even for him. Bottom line: get this book, it's great fun and a perfect treat to take to the beach or the pool. Just be careful not to start it late at night, unless you're someone who doesn't need sleep!

Review: I just finished Sinfully Delicious and couldn't wait to post this review. I stayed up all night to read this book... I just couldn't put it down. Kyra is spunky and fun. Cliff is... WOW!! He is to die for, mouthwatering good. So is his best friend, Shane Chandler. I'm dying to read his story next, I hope (keeping my fingers crossed). I loved the recipe theme in this book and the sexual tension. The whole cooking theme with the romance was just so suited to each other. It really made this book different from the usual, and that's hard to find in a romance these days. My hat is off to you, Lora Kenton. Bring on another soon.Oh, the beginning when Kyra enters the whorehouse unbeknownst to her is hilarious. I also loved their wedding and the wedding gown. Too funny. Romance Reader

Review: In 1880, desperate New Orleans socialite Kyra Lourdes arrives in Los Almas Perdidas, Texas in search of her friend, bounty hunter and rancher Cliff Baldwin. Embarrassingly, Kyra finds her former chess partner in a local whorehouse that she thought was the family home of a Madame not a madam. Shocked to see Kyra for the first in seven years, Cliff quickly escorts her out of the cathouse to his ranch. Kyra tells her story of having six fiancés in six years. She dumped each one because they represented a deadly sin with lust being the only one she has not met. She went to see her last beau to plead with him to end their engagement, but instead watched Jacques Delacroix brutally murder a woman. Jacques knows she witnessed his crime and with no hope for help from her parents or the law as her betrothed is politically connected, Kyra fled for the only person she felt would keep her safe. As they fall in love, evil is arriving from Louisiana to finish the job. Though a historical romantic suspense, SINFULLY DELICIOUS is more an amusing Americana romance. The delightful story line cleverly combines humor (through Kyra's soliloquies) with intrigue as Cliff has his work cut out to keep his beloved safe. The jocularity will keep readers smiling, but serves as a two-edged sword as it also diminishes the strength of the relationship between the lead couple in spite of the eminent danger. Summary: An Delicious Afternoon Snack
Review: This book was so engaging that I could not put it down. The authors did an excellent job of writing each of the characters--it was almost as if I knew each of them personally. They did an equally good job of taking you back to a different period in time. Overall, a great read that combines love, romance, and suspense making it a wonderful afternoon escape!
