They jump off the pages and blend the thin line of familiarity and imagination.Lisa is implacable, spoiled, and brash...thoughtless, and more often than not selfish. She's living the auspicious life of a successful lawyer with a wonderful home and an opulent boyfriend brimming with undying affection for her. Everything is great...that is until a pundit, svelte new man swaggers into Lisa's life smothering her with his presence and charm, and threatening all the comfort she's become accustomed to. What will this capricious, errant girl do when she's faced with multiple calamities that will totally change her life? Well..I'm surely not going to tell you...you'll have to get the book and read it yourself. 10 Minutes Past Too Late is an intoxicating story...a romance laced with mystery, action, and intrigue...that will keep you up way past bedtime trying to find out the outcome.

Review: 10 Minutes Past Too Late introduces us to a fun feisty female character that will take you on a wild explosive ride. Ms. Malone has done a wonderful job of creating a character that you want to dislike, but end up liking and rooting for. Lisa Munroe is not your typical run of the mill female character. Move over you "woe is me" protagonists. Make way for a sexy, funny, devilish in your face lead character. Lisa will have your mouth gapping open, your temperature rising all the while gently tickling your funny bone with a feather. If you're looking for a light, page turning read Ms. Malone delivers. Summary: I'm Luvin It
Review: Alright the book was real good. I like the attitude of the character and the enviorment that the setting was in. I definently liked mike and darnell. The only thing I didn't like was she only had details about the main character. She didn't detail the other charcters as, as she did with Lisa, I'd love to know how her sister look and more about darnell, andre, mike and her mother. She could have also gave us more detail in small parts like when they went to the game and dinner also the crash which was the climax in the book for me. But I like how she probably figured that the readers didn't want a lot of narrating in it. It was a real page turner. I read it in one day and now I'm reading it again, just to soak the book in because I love the plot and I don't want to forget a book like that. It was good but could've been better. I can't waint until her next book is published.

Review: As an avid reader, I am always looking for my next book. I read 10 Minutes Past Too Late in 2 days! I couldn't wait to see what that Lisa was up to next! I like books where the chapters aren't too long; because we're going to be interrupted. The book has a continuous flow which I really enjoyed.

Review: Great job, nice home, nice ride. What more could a woman as for? Lisa Munroe has it going on! Or does she? Not only does she have all of those things going for her, she's got a man to die for. Or does she? When the new lawyer, Mike, a handsome New York attorney starts working at Lisa's office, sparks fly. Lisa would never consider messing around with a co-worker. Or would she? Read the book to find out. Lisa's got some issues and it was interesting to see how she handled them. At times, you almost wished you could shake her, or at the very least, smack her. LOL But Ms. Malone has created characters that are fresh, believable and identifiable. With many surprising twists and turns, this book will keep you spellbound waiting to see what will happen next. Buy the book, you'll enjoy the read!

Review: I think this may have been the worst book I have read this year. Lisa was a character that was so full of herself that it would make one puke. No other characters came to life. It was just a bad bad book. By the time i made it to the twist and turns in the book I was just exhausted and fed up. I hope the next novel is nothing like this one.

Review: Or is she? Read the book to find out how one woman can purposely find a way to ruin a relationship that most women would KILL for. Lisa Munroe had it goin' on. Heart-stopping beautiful, intelligent, good job and a fantastic man. A man who only lived to please her, wanted to marry her and have a family. Sounds perfect? But see, that was the problem. Lisa didn't think she deserved perfect, so she had to find a way to mess it up. Having a handsome, rich co-worker didn't help. What starts off as a battle of wills turns into something else altogether. It also doesn't help when said man, Mike, wants Lisa and doesn't mind ruining her life to have her. However, no one can see how decisions made in the heat of a moment and things that can happen in the blink of an eye can rip not only their lives, but others lives as well, apart. And then there's that thing call CONSEQUENCES and learning to deal with and live with them. Lisa learns, almost too late, the mistake of not thinking things through more clearly. Lisa is also so sure that no matter what, her man, Darnel will always take her back, but every man, no matter how nice, has his limits. Too late, Lisa realizes that she just may have pushed him too far. "10 Minutes Past Too Late" was an interesting read, especially for a first time writer. Ms. Malone weaves a story that is intriguing, contemporary and fast paced. You will definately find yourself asking what would you do in certain situations. I think anyone who reads this will enjoy it!

Review: Ten Minutes Past Too Late is a lighthearted, entertaining debut novel from Anika Malone. Meet Lisa Munroe she's a woman of the New Millennium. She has a cushy job, nice ride, owns her home, and a boyfriend to die for. So why is she scared to hell to settle down and commit to her boyfriend, Darnell Harvin? And why is she lusting after the new guy on the block...New York lawyer, Mike Wilson? Lisa's nickname since childhood has been "Bad Girl". As we experience her mad escapades it will quickly become obvious as to how she received this nickname. However, at some point in our lives, we all must grow up and move beyond those things which hinder progress. Is Lisa strong enough to overcome the obstacles in her life? Malone gives us a good debut novel...its warm, energetic and charming. At times, the storyline was a little predictable, however, the book was easy enough to follow and held your attention so much so that you could breeze through it in one sitting. If you enjoy reading relationship novels, then check out the latest in this genre from newcomer Anika Malone.
