Summary: Great historical romance
Review: Being a big fan of Jane Goodger, I couldn't wait to get my hands on her newest novel. I absolutly loved it. I've read other reviews that weren't so great, but I found this story to be wonderful.Determined to go to San Francisco to find her missing fiance, Hannah Wright signs on as navigator with Captain James MacRae's ship. During the 100 day journey to San Francisco, James and Hannah fall in love. Unable to admit her love, Hannah is determined that she will marry her fiance, once she finds him. Many mistakes are made and many misunderstandings tear the two lovers apart. When Hannah finally agrees to marry James and go back to New York with him, Hannah jilts him on the day that his ship is to leave. When Hannah finally returns to New York, she is dismayed to find that James is engaged to another woman. She must use all her power to win him back.

Review: from start to finish it was entertaining and loved the fact that the hero loves the heroine almost from the begining instead of declaring himself at the end of the story.

Review: Hannah Wright is determined to go to San Francisco and find her missing fiance, Allen Pritchard. She applies for the position of navigator upon the Windfire, a sleek clipper ship. The captain agrees on one condition--her father must agree. Much to Captain James McRae's consternation, Hannah's father agrees. As they draw closer to their destination, Hannah realizes that James McRae has stolen the one thing she promised never to give any man--her heart. This book captured my attention from the very beginning. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. This love story promises adventure, entertainment and passion; all of which Jane Goodger aptly delivers.

Summary: an absolute gem
Review: I am a huge fan of Jane Goodger so buying her latest book was a given. Into the Wild Wind is a great read. Anyone whoe enjoys to read will love this book. It has it all, romance, suspense, betrayal, and includes such a range of emotional depth it will keep you enthralled to the very last. Jane Goodger has a way of creating characters that are believable, relatable, loveable and endearing. This book made me laugh, cry and smile, and I must say Jane Goodger has done it again. If you are just beginning to read Goodger I say continue on and do not miss any of her titles, each is a gem. And if you would like a recommendation....although I love all of her novels I am particularly fond of When there is Hope and Anything for love.

Review: I am so glad I happened to stumble across this book at the library, because I absolutely loved this book. It is one of those books that actually grabs your heart and touches it. This book is a great example of the reason why I read romance books.

Review: I bought this book in the morning, started reading at noon and couldn't put it down for the rest of the day! I wasn't satisfied until I finished this wonderful book. This is the first book I've read by Jane Googer and I'm going to order all her others. I loved it!

I seem to always end up crying when the book is done b/c the story was so lovely! This book is a sure thing. I found myself wishing I was Hannah and that Captain MacRae was mine! I disagree with the review below where she said the hero and heroine hated each other in the beginning---that's misleading, they may have believed they hated each other, however being able to read their thoughts as the reader you know that they love each other almost from the start. What a wonderful love story.
