Rating: Summary: Lucky by Jackie Collins Review: Jackie Collins' Lucky, is a novel about power, love, lust, sex and crime. Daughter of a powerful man, Lucky Santangelo, an erotic and wild beauty, plans on continuing the family tradition with honor. Hungry for power, success and pleasure Lucky sets out seeking for her desires. Before she knows it, Lucky embarks herself on an adventure full of glory, passion, trouble, sex, vengeance and suspense. From Vegas to New York after her father's unexpected and undesirable wedding. Pregnant by the world's richest man, Dimitri Stanislopoulos, a passionate lover, Lucky lives her life between her East Hampton home in New York and her son's father's private Greek Islands. Off on business in Atlantic City, Lucky hits the road with power, money, glory and love. Her glory is cut short, when her dangerous past catches her back leading her to court.
This novel is extraordinary. This novel kept me reading, I couldn't take my eyes or mind off the book. Jackie Collins gets deep into descriptions making you feel the characters emotions and desires. As you read on and learn more about each one, you feel that you know these people. You can just imagine each scenario in your head, and feel that you are part of the scene but that no one can see you.
Rating: Summary: Get Lucky Tonight!!! Review: Jackie Collins' masterpiece of glitz and glamour, reading "Lucky" is like sipping a chilled glass of Dom Perignon champagne in a Jacuzzi overlooking the Cote d' Azur in the South of France. You will feel like an international jet-setter from Page One, and you will thrill to the lives of the Rich and Infamous, as they hop from bed to bed, in search of perfect sex, drugs and more and more money. Makes you want to become a billionaire, overnight, and you will almost believe you can after reading this scorcher. Get "Lucky" tonight, after all, you deserve it, don't you???
Rating: Summary: One of the best books from Jackie Collins! Review: Lucky is a woman to be looked up to! After discovering her mother's body, and witnessing her brother's and her lover's savage murders she becomes a stronger and more determined person. Lucky's strength and lust for life and prosperity keeps you at the edge of your seat
Rating: Summary: I loved this book! Review: Lucky Santangelo is my favorite character in the Jackie Collins novels. I enjoy reading about her because she is a strong and intelligent female character who can hold her own. The book "Lucky" was very well-written. It was steamy, and racy at most times, but that's what's great about this book--it's honest. It lets you know what goes on behind the scenes of the rich and powerful.
Rating: Summary: This book oozes with sex, glamour, and intrigue. Review: Lucky Santangelo is ruthless, cunning, and attractive. She is the daughter of the gangster Gino Santangelo and she lets nothing stand in her way. She is a woman who is on top of things and never allows anyone to stand in her way. Lucky marries the father of her estranged high school girlfriend Olympia Stanislopolous. Olympia angered by the marriage and envied by her slim physique, vows to have nothing to do with her. Lenny Golden, the comic who married the Greek heiress, is in love with Lucky. And who can blame him? Then there are the other characters Santino Bonnatti, his wife and mistress (who is also Lenny's ex-girlfriend), Carrie Berkely and her son Steven (who is also the illegitimate son of Gino Santangelo), and others that the make the novel a great read. Jackie Collins knows what to write and how to write it.
