Rating: Summary: High profile lives and lots of crazy love! Review: This is the first book, of the series, that I have read. You DO NOT need to read the first to understand the second. But, I can't wait to read the first, to know even more depth! The sex, drugs, and rock n roll apply to some characters, not all..(just as in real life). One character's strengths helps another's weaknesses. And they are forever crossing paths, (once again, just as it is in real life). There aren't too many books that can bring you through so many highs, in one read!. This is more than a great story, it is a saga! I'm sure that the mini-series doesn't do it justice. I have felt love, hate, passion, independence, fear and more. I had a 'birds eye view' of the gangster, the 'gypsy', the homosexuals', the 'starving' actor/actress, the heiress, the drug-addicted, the snobish, the mothers, the fathers, the prostitute, the lawyer, and more, WOW! There is suspense, there is death, there is love. The love itself, is a web! Some what slap-stick. Everyone loves someone else, and it takes years for them to find out, or to have the perfect opportunity to confront it. No matter, what kind of reader you are, I think you will enjoy this particular book very much!
Rating: Summary: This is the Mama Review: This is the story that got it all started. If you haven't read this book then you are in for a treat, and before you finish this book make sure you have chances, lady boss, dangerous kiss on hand because you are going to need to know what happen next. I assure you.
Rating: Summary: Much improved from Chances! Review: This novel surpasses Chances in ways that are indescribable. Lucky is owning and running her own hotel, which is very upper-class and expensive. Then we are intwined with other characters such as Olympia, Brigette, Carrie, Lennie (soon to play a major part in her life), and Steven, who is unfortunately a good character that is totally wasted. Other than that small flaw, this novel is completely wonderful, and should not be missed.

Rating: Summary: Great!!!!! Can't put it down!!!! Review: Trust me on this one. I have read ALL of hers and this one along with Chances,Lady Boss and Vendetta are great. I couldn't get any sleep at all when I read these books!!!! Just be sure to read them in order.
Rating: Summary: KEPT ME AT THE EDGE OF MY SEAT!! Review: What more can I say? All of the money in the world could not get me to pry my fingers off of this book. In Collins' sophomore release of the Santangelo saga we get reaquainted with the awe-inspiring, business savy and headstrong Lucky Santangelo, daughter of the notorious Gino "The Ram" Santagelo -- former mob boss.
Not one iota of what Collins' writes in this book comes off as being unrealistic, boring or repeptitive. Writing a book like this takes pure, unadulturated talent!! How she manages to come up with new and exciting characters, keep us thouroughly updated on old ones, intertwine all of their storylines FLAWLESSLY and leave her fans begging for more is harder to comprehend then learning Chinese Arithmatic in Latin!
Lucky comes back geared and ready for a whole new peril. I don't know if there is much I can say about this book without giving too much away... It's just all so JUICY and addictive! I will say that we are introduced to some new characters -- Lennie Golden being the main one. As well as reuniniting with some characters some of us may have thought wouldn't come back -- Olympia and Dimirti Stanislopolous ... These three characters will influenece Lucky's life in a MAJOR way... You will just have to read to find out. This is yet another 10 star read from Ms. Collins.
