Summary: THE GENIE IS OUT OF THE BOTTLE!!!!
Review: Professor Rushton is just basically stating the obvious. It's to bad they had to practically burn this guy at the stake though, no normal human being could seriously look at Africa's current and present conditions and say there have equal civilization building power and intelligence compared to Europeans and Asians. Europeans were discovering the nature of physics, astronomy and already thinking about going to the stars before primitive black Africans even invented the wheel or any written language. To say that these people are equal to us and deserve to live in our societies is a testament to unusual times we live in. Lets take some wisdom from Professor Rushton's book and plead to put these primitive peoples back on the continent they belong before they destroy us all.

Summary: Intellectual Maturity?
Review: When will we grow up enough to admit that the reason blacks achieve so little when compared to whites and Asians is because they are simply dumber. We love to pretend it can not be so. It makes us feel good. The more research is done into the topic the more evidence we find that it is in fact true. As if we even needed IQ tests to prove this! Centuries of history prove it. Europeans were exploring the world and the nature of the universe at the same time that most black Africans hadn't even invented the wheel. I'm tired watching whites bear the burden of black stupidity. We should repatriate these indolent morons back to Africa so they can see for themselves just what happens when blacks are left to their own devices. A resource laden continent like that would feature advanced civilizations and booming economies if it were inhabited by a majority of whites. Instead it's a benighted, primitive wasteland where as much as half of the sub Saharan population is likely to die of AIDS. These people are too dumb to contribute. Stop pretending they are any better than what they are.

Summary: Why must North Americans group?
Review: I've just finished getting through the first chapter of this book and can say that this is a very poor piece of literature. Why is it so difficult for North Americans, South African ect to look at people as individuals? Take iq for instance. Maybe every black population had a lower iq score on average than every white and this was do to genetics. So what? This doesn't mean that any particular black person whould have a lower iq than any particular white person. Any particlar black person you would pick out may have an iq higher than yours. How could you possibly twist the truth to think you're intelklectually superior to someone who is more intelligent than you? In the united states millions of blacks score higher than the average white and millions of whites score lower than the average black. The fact is all these differences are simply group differences, differences that have there origin not in the actual world but in the minds of the people who would divide humanity into groups. There is no black people and white people only individuals like michael jordan, bill clinton, wayne gretsky and Martin Luther King. Let's brake apart race as a concept people.

Summary: A Great Book!!
Review: This is an excellent book. Finally a work on race and biology that speaks the truth. That black men have large members and are more sexual than white men is something I've always suspected. I've always wondered why black men always seem more physically manly. I remember watching a group of black men playing basketball once and I wondered at how fast they ran and high they jumped. Their bodies were sculpted and muscular in a way I have never seen of anyone from my own race. And then I looked back at my poor self with my extremly diminutive penis and flabby physique and I felt a surge of envy for these tall masculine creatures positioned before me. Oh how sad it is to be a poor lonely white man. Well done professor Rushton for bringing to light these important findings.

Summary: biased trash
Review: This book uses out of date and misguided data to support inferences that are beyond the scope of that original research. His methods and statements are at best lies based on misinformation at worse down right fabrications.
His entire approach shows his personal biases and the entire endeavor is filled with racist rhetoric.
The fundamental data he uses as his basis was disproved over 50 years ago. The entire book misinterprets data proven wrong decades ago. It is nothing more than racist rhetoric. Plain and simple.

Summary: I agree with Most of the Book Except....
Review: I thought most of the book was scientifically accurate and corresponded with my personal observations of the behavior of different races, except for the part about Asians not having any "balls" sorta speak.Anyone well versed in Chinese history would agree that the Chinese had some of the bloodiest battles ever in history. During the Three Kingdoms period, we're talking about armies comprised of millions of troops and battles lasting for weeks. Then there's the Mongols who dominated the entire Eurasian continent in a reign of terror that ended only with the death of Genghis Kahn. Of course, there's the Japanese Kamikaze pilots during WW2. Asians got balls.

Summary: Essential reading, I believe.
Review: As a social science professor at a prestigious university, I must admit that we, as a group, have acted as thought genes don't exist, at least when trying to explain why African-Americans, despite 40 years and trillions of dollars of social programs, have not closed the achievement gap with Whites and Asians. This book, "Race, Evolution, and Behavior," does an excellent job of enlightening us social science types about the biology of racial differences. For example, it was startling to learn that multiple high-quality studies have demonstrated that Blacks have much smaller brains than Asians or Whites, and that brain size correlates with cognitive functioning. If society is to ameliorate the situation for African-Americans, it would seem we must acknowledge and deal ETHICALLY with any genetic differences. To ignore the genetic would be to fight the battle with one arm tied behind our back.

Summary: Real Science
Review: Those who are not interested in being convinced are 99 out of 100 cases not going to be convinced by this one book. On the other hand, I think those who are willing to be convinced already take Rushton's side before they open this book. Let me be honest: I'm one of the former. Reading this book- from cover to cover, let me add - has proven that my previous position cannot be budged. The facts and figures presented by Rushton are pretty impressive to my eyes - and very professionally done too. This book is 100% politically incorrect. But pioneers in evolutionary psychology like the Harvard professor Steven Pinker are already beginning to change the climate. One day Rushton will likely be viewed as an intellectual prophet rather than a heretic - like Gallileo or Darwin had once been. This is my hope and belief. [...].

Summary: Facts or hypotheses are never racist or not racist,
Review: it is the interpretation of them that matters. It is important to remember that even though the hypothesis in this book might be correct, the differences shown are differences between statistical group averages, not between individuals. The Bell Curves of intelligence are Gaussian distributions which means the amount of difference in the mean of intelligence between the races is relatively insignificant compared with the difference in intelligence within the races. Thus the data in this book cannot be used to predict the intelligence (or any other trait, for that matter) of individuals of any race. Even if the facts of the book are correct, they still cannot justify racism against blacks or anyone else. Scientific facts do not have moral values attached to them automatically. It is how we interpret the facts and what we do with them that matters.

Summary: Chinese people need to learn to become more aggressive
Review: China once had the most advanced naval fleet in the world, but instead of using it to colonise distant lands and ruthlessly loot from natives as the Europeans did with their ships, this fleet was used to send gifts to distant peoples, with full civilised courtesy, on behalf of the emperor, as a demonstration of China's great virtue. If Africa fell behind Europe because it was not civilised enough, China fell behind because it was too civilised. Perhaps it is because of the lack of testosterone, as the book suggests, but at least the lack of testosterone is easier to compensate for than the lack of intelligence. Chinese people need to become more aggressive or else we would fall behind once again. When the Europeans went to East Africa they enslaved the natives. When the Chinese went to East Africa gifts were given to the natives as signs of friendship. This book might explain why there is such a difference in culture. This difference in culture has made China weak and backward.
