Rating: Summary: You won't be disappointed! Review: Having read the first two books in this series, I anxiously awaited the release of the third title and once I had found it and read it, I certainly wasn't disappointed. This story flows right from the Dark Rival which is second in the series and still maintains the continuity of the characters. Again it is well paced and keeps you eagerly turning the page even if you are 36 and not 9 years old. It was especially enjoyable to see glimpses of Qui Gon's humor in this one. He certainly keeps his apprentice guessing. There's also a poignant chapter in which Obi Wan is held captive and faces the rather cruel fate of having his memory erased. He tries to be so brave and remember everything important in his life. Meanwhile, Qui Gon, not being able to free him suffers right along with him. Don't pass up this series because of its age recommendation. I can't stress that enough!!
Rating: Summary: Great Book for kids and a fun read for adults too! Review: I bought all 3 for my 8 year-old nephew and then decided to read them myself, first. The writing is of extremely high quality, and the stories are advanced along a level that surprised me for a children's book.I'll admit it's cool to read the pre-Star Wars stories. I'm happy my nephew really likes them also. That means I have an excuse to buy more.

Rating: Summary: This is the one i read and reread millions of times! Review: I have read almost all of the Jedi Apprentice books beside #8. I am a huge Star Wars fan and these books really bring you into the plots of everything. In the fourth installment of this series I found many heart warming, hair-raising and hilarious moments. I constantly read this book. It is so incredibly well writen(please excuse my grammar). I love it and I think whoever reads this book will also love it as much as I did/do.
Rating: Summary: Buy iT! Review: I know that you must be tired of me.. So far, I've written all my reviews of Jedi Apprentices books... I can't helpit! I love 'em all... The thried volume is really cool coz we can imagine how truly worried Qui-Gon were towards Obi_wan. I can tell that Qui-Gon love him like his own son. There's a part where Obi-Wan was going through memory wipe.. I can't tell you what happen coz you have to read it yourself... The story continues in vol. 4! Read my review for the vol. 4, ok? Don't forget to order it!
Rating: Summary: A series for all ages! Review: I love Star Wars, I've read all the books, but these books stand highly above the rest.Don't let the age recommendation fool you. I'm twelve, barely in the age recommendation, and I loved the books. I've heard people of all ages who loved these books, and they've got good reason to. DO NOT MISS THESE BOOKS OR YOU'LL BE SORRY!!!
Rating: Summary: Jace Emero , Jedi Master Review: I loved this book, read it 4 times. The action and connection between the Derida bros and Qui Gon & Obi wan was entertaining. Also liked the intertwining story line between this and Mark of the Crown.
Rating: Summary: A good third adventure in the series Review: I must admit that the second book was so good, I wondered if this book could match up to it. I was not disapointed. This book had an extremly well thought out plot, exellent character development, and succeded in being the best yet, which is quite a feat since the second book was so good. For a basic summery, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan are about to go on their first adventure together as master and padawan(still don't know what that word means), and they are suddenly hijacked and forced to land on the planet Phindaar instead, and they try to help the oppressed people their. On the way they meet up with Obi-Wan's friend Guerra from the previous book, along with his brother Paxxi, and they go on an exiting adventure together trying to sneak supplies out to the suppressed people. I was wondering in the previous two books, did they forget that Obi-Wan had a brother? At last in this book he is mentioned. I first found this out in the Essential Guide to Characters, that Obi-Wan Kenobi's brother was Owen Lars, the same one who raised Luke along with his wife Beru! Something I still wonder about though, and that I hope the books ahead will answer, is that where exactly did Obi-Wan come from? What is his home planet? Anyway, fans of all ages should not let themselves deterred by the short length and the obvious fact they are most intended for young children. I am fifteen and I love these books. They are definitly on a par with the incredible Young Jedi Knights and Junior Jedi Knights, (which feature Han and Leia's children) and even some of the adult novels I've read.
Rating: Summary: This was one of the best! Review: I must say these Jedi Apprentice books are very good, but I must tell you though Obi-Wan gets knocked-out A LOT in the series!! This book is one of my favorites. Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon have finally become Master and Padawan and Master Yoda has given them one boring asignment, to watch over the elections on the planet Gala, (which you find out is not true in the next book) but as always things never go as planned. On the way to Gala their hyjacked to the planet Phina, where an evil group is controling the natives by erasing their memories. As the story goes on Obi-Wan is kidnaped and they plan to erase his memorie! Can Obi-Wan escape? Can Qui-Gon save him in time? Can they both save the planet from this evil group? Find for yourslef by reading The Hidden Past.
