Summary: Salamandastron
Review: Salamandastron is the story of a fever spreading through Redwall Abbey. Two Redwallers, Thrugg and Dumble, must go north to the mountains to find the flowers of Icetor to make the medicine to stop it. At the mountain fortess of Salamandastron the badger lord, Uthstripe the strong, and his warrior rabbits called the Long Patrol fight off the villianous weasel, Ferhago the Assassin, and his evil horde. Meanwhile, Samkin and Arula of Redwall look for the sword of Martin the Warrior as Mara and Pikkle try to make it back to Salamandastron and the four strangely join. I liked this book because it makes me not want to stop reading and anxious for the next book in the series. Something exciting happened on every page. Salamandastron would be the perfect book for someone who likes action or adventure books. It would also be great for someone who has a good imagination. If you like this book you would like all the other books in the Redwall series.

Summary: The best book in the Redwall series!!
Review: Salamandastron has to be the most moving and captivating book that i have ever read.I sat enthralled for hours whilst reading this and became totally captured by the detail and personalities that each of the characters has been given.It has been read so many times that i have now lost count! I adore the bravery of Mara and the companionship that Pikkle Ffollger shows her.My favorite part has to be when Mara add's the last name to Urthstripes title - "father" as this was when Mara realised that she did love him.I think that Brian Jacques is a brilliant writer and is also a very unique writer as i don't know of any other writer who can write a whole page on the description of food!! well done!!

Review: At the beginning of the book the king or lord Ustripe the strong, who gets a warning that the wolves are coming and he didn't believe it was true until the molemaid told him it was true. Them two had known each other for along time and he always trusted her. So once he found out it was true he paini then he thought about the knight . I loved this book.Normally I like funny books, but even though it wasn't funny,I would read it again.

Review: I read a real good book called Salamandastron, by Brian Jacques. It is a fantasy book about woodland creatures that fight wars with vermin like rats, weasels, stoats, etc......... This particular book is about the evil Ferrahgo the Assassin-an unmerciful ferret warlord that wants to take over the mountain fortress Salamanstron. But, Urthstripe the Strong has other plans.Mean while at Redwall Abbey, place of peace, the sword of their mighty hero has been stolen by two stoats that brought a disease and killed a man.See how they cure the sickness,recover the sword, and if Urthstripe can defeat Ferrahgo and the vermin in the action packed fantasy book, Salamandastron.

Summary: The Best Book Ever
Review: Salamandastron is the third book of the Redwall series I've read and loved it a whole lot. All the brand new good guy characters and the bad guy characters that the book introduced. The best conflict that I liked is when Martin's sword was stolen and Samkin and Arula went after those weasels that stole it. The chase was an awesome thing to read about and when Samkin met Spriggat, Alfoh, and his army of shrews. When they met up with Log-a Log and his shrews and when Samkin finally got back the sword I was really happy. When they went to Salamandastron to defeat Ferahgo and his bandits of weasel I new it was going to be an awesome battle. After that exciting fight at Salamandastron they had a great feast at Redwall when they returned with Martin's sword. I'm also glad that Redwall got a new badger queen. I am reading other of your books and please keep on writing! Sincerely,

Review: Out of all the Redwall books this one is one of my favorites. The mystery sourrounding the two badger cubs at the begginning adds a new twist to the already mysterious Salamandastron. I foind that Mara's path and Samkin's path are meant to be intersected always.

Summary: Review of Slamandastron
Review: This is the third book that I have read in this series. I found it very interesting and would recomend it to everyone. It is about The Fire Mountain, Salamandastron and the ruling badger, Lord Earthstripe. His badger maid (Mara) runs away and makes friends with Klitch a weasel. Klitch's Father (Ferhargo) has told him to do this so that they can enter the mountain and take over. Ferhargo is the leader of a band of evil vermin. Mara runs away from them after discovering thier evil plot. Meanwhile at Redwall Abbey a lightening bolt strikes the weathervane and reveals the legendary sword of Martin the Warrior. Matthais finds it and sets out on an adventure. He meets up with Mara and decides to help her. They come across a couple of shrew armies that are willing to help for a price. He has to retrive their black stone. Along the way he finds a great white badger that has the stone he gives it back and comes along because Urthstripe is his long lost brother.

Summary: Best One in the Series
Review: This was definitely my favorite of all Redwall books. I love the regality of the badger lords, and the playful toughness of the Long Patrol. Ferahgo the Assassin is one of the best villains ever - he is not just "bad," but devious, cunning, intelligent, and extremely appealing. This was the first one I read and the best of the bunch.

Review: Once I read a book called Salamandastron.In this book is a whole new world named Mossflower.This book is about a badger named Mara,who is getting tired of a life of secrecy and strict punishments.After years of growing up with her foster father, Mara decides to run away with Pikkle.When Urthstripe thinks he already has enough on his hands with Mara, an assassin has to show up with a horde of rats and ferrets.The assassin's name is Ferahgo. Meanwhile at a peaceful abby called Redwall,a young squirel finds the sword of a legend, Martin the Warrior.Can Urthstripe team up with Redwall to beat Ferahgo and save Mara?
I liked this book becuase of the surprising events.

Summary: High Action Novel!
Review: The thing that I just love about this book is the high action and the constant battles. The book keeps you on your toes. Salamandastron was very enjoyable to me but has a lot of plot and a lot of things going on at the same time!
