Rating: Summary: Audrey from Richview Middle School Review: Mia Thermopolis is the most important character; she is dating a guy named Kenny, who is also a very important character. Mia is not in "love" with Kenny, but is in love with her best friend Lilly's brother Michael Moscovitz. Michael hangs out with a girl named Judith Gershner, who can clone fruit flies. Mia thinks that Judith is better than her. At the fair for Albert Einstein High Scholl, Michael admits he has loved Mia for a very long time. The story ends with Mia getting her first french-kiss from her one true love, Michael Moscovitz. I liked this book because it shows how a real teenager acts and feels. The book was very exciting, filled with twists that changed the whole story. The end of the book made the story twice as good.
Rating: Summary: I loved it! Review: Any teenager will relate to the feelings of Mia. It was adorable, and made us gaze off into our own daydreams of the day when we find our prince!
Rating: Summary: Beautiful! Review: This is one of my absolute favorite books of all time! If you are reading this then you have probably already read the first two books and know how Mia wakes one morning a thinking of herself as a perfectly normal 14 year old vegetarian girl living in New York, and then goes to bed that night as the princess of Genovia: a small Europian principality. In this third book, Mia is reparing for a trip to visit her future place of ruling over her christmas vacation, trying to adjust to having her algebra teacher as her step father, trying to get her boyfriend to ask her to the nondenominational winter dance, and all along secretly pining over her one true love, Michael, who just so happens to be her best friend's older brother. whew! I loved this because it involves princesses and love in a modern day New York setting. (Also because Mia's a vegetarian and I have yet to find someone at my school who feels the same way that I do about animal rights!)Once I picked it up, I just couldn't put it down! I would recomend it to teenage girls who like reading about modern-day issues, but who also like stuff like manicures and romance and that stuff.
Rating: Summary: The Princess in Love Review: This book was very good ! Read it to fin out if Mia can figure out what to do with her love life ! I would reccomend this to any one who liked the other Princess diary books.
Rating: Summary: Oh, my life is so horrible! or the chronicles of a rich brat Review: That is how I would describe the Princess Diaries series after book two. No longer the hip New Yorker she once was, Mia is now just a naïve spoiled brat who doesn't realize that people like her grandmère are probably the best people she will ever meet. Mia's life is so horrible-she has a boyfriend, she gets money donated to a charity everyday in her name, she goes to a nice school, she has a roof over her head, clothes on her back, and food in her stomach. Oh yeah, tough life. Try the life of a regular freshman girl in the middle of the Midwest.
Rating: Summary: Princess Diaries: Princess in Love Review: Mia Thermopolis is a normal fourteen-year-old girl living in Manhattan. Well, as normal as a girl can be with a boyfriend she doesn't love because she's in love with her best friend's older brother. He happens to be a senior at her high school and just might be going out with a fruit fly cloning senior. All the while, her current and first boyfriend, who is also her Biology partner and the only reason she's not flunking that particular subject, still hasn't asked her to the Christmas Dance at school. Oh, and did I mention she's a crown princess? And that her first visit to the country, Genovia, that she will someday rule ("population 50,000 and less, but still") is coming up? I'm a lover of fantasy, but this series, of which Princess Dairies: Princess in Love is the third book out of, has reintroduced me to the wonders of fiction and realistic fiction. This book is very funny! Mia always ends up getting herself into trouble, and is always worrying about something or another. If you need a funny fictional book, definitely check this one out!
Rating: Summary: Love is Good Review: This book was an awesome book to read. I loved how it talked about love. I've been in love before and then he dumped me so after I read this book it changed my whole perspective on guys and love. Don't fall in love until you've really gotten to know that person and that you know that that person loves you back. It was really hard for Mya to write letters to the person that she likes and in away I'm like her. She finally comes around on telling him and finds out that he likes her too which made it all the better. She goes through many other trials as well her mom and her math teacher get married and then her mom gets pregnant and is about to have a baby. That would be weird if your mom dated one of your teachers wouldn't it?
Rating: Summary: A Princess' Life Review: Princess in Love (the third book in the Princess Diaries series by Meg Cabot) is a story about Mia Thermopolis, a girl who just found out she is a princess and is trying to figure out what to do. With Mia's love life, her baby sister or brother coming along, and her trip to Genovia, you won't want to put this book down. Princess in Love was so compelling that I just wanted to read more and more. Things would happen to Mia and you would just want to find out how it would be fixed, and what she thought of it. One thing I did not like about the book was the language that was used in parts of the story. I think that the feelings that wanted to be expressed could have been expressed with a lot more subtle words. Meg Cabot has a very good way with words. She makes little, but interesting scenarios that happen just so you'll read more. This is a wonderful book to read if you are between the ages of 13-16, especially if you like romance and drama.
Rating: Summary: Mia's love troubles continue... Review: In this third Princess Diaries installment, Mia finally has a boyfriend...but she doesn't love him. Instead, she's still suffering from a crush on her best friend's brother. As usual, Mia records her love troubles, along with her struggles to find time to study for finals, as well as prepare for her trip to Genovia, in her journal. All of this builds to an immensely satisfying conlusion, that, as usual, will leave readers eager for the next book!
