Rating: Summary: Princess in Love Review: This is probably one of the best books I have ever read!Mia Thermopolis has just found out she is a princess of Genovia. In the book before, someone was sending Mia anonymous love letters and she had found out that they were from a boy named Kenny. So in this book Kenny is Mia's new boyfriend but he is not the boyfriend she wants. She has had a huge crush on her best friend Lillys brother Michael for a very long time but thinks Lilly will make fun of her if she knows. She wants to break up with Kenny because he told her that he loves her but she doesn't love him back but she decides to wait until after exams. She sends anonymous love poems to Michael.Lilly finds out and tells Michael.Mia thinks Michael could never like her because he likes smart girls. At the fair, since Michael is part of the computer club he has to work at that booth and tells Mia to go there.Mia had said in one of her poems "some one loves you."On the screen that she is looking at a castle comes up and then then one of her poeams but in stead of saying "some one loves you" it said "I love you too."But Mia thinks he is making fun of her and starts crying. But in the end everything works out and Mia and Michael get together. You should definetly read this book but it would help if you read the two before this first.
Rating: Summary: Good! Review: This book was good, and funny, also. Mia is actually happy when she smashes her tongue, buut I'm not going to tell you why. Kenny is smart, but, however, in Mia's mind, imperfect boyfriend material. My only complaint with this series is that a)Mia seems rather stupid in some areas other than writing and b)Mia and Micheal always seem to end up together. Other than that, it's good, it's funny, you should get it.
Rating: Summary: Cabot keeps it coming Review: I've read all the previous books in the 'Princess Diaries' series and this one wasn't a disappointment, quality-wise. The plot was strong and I applaud Meg Cabot for not making the romantic subplot too corny. I will say that the ending is a bit unrealistic and I'm somewhat suspicious of the guy she ends up with...but I won't elaborate further because it'd spoil the ending. So read it for yourself and maybe you'll get what I'm talking about. It's a funny book, something I could bring andread at my high school without being embarassed.
Rating: Summary: Not Pleased!! Review: I have finished almost all of the books in this series, and found this one was not very well written. It seemed to me that the author didn't have a good grasp on life as an early high school student. Having read a plethora of other books based on the life of high school students, I found that this author had the least knowlege of it. Mia Thermopolis, the main character was superbly immature for being almost fifteen. For example, there is a passage in the book where Mia describes her most and least favorite books. She says, "This book has lots of bad words." It sounded like a five-year-old's journal to me. I thought that she could have at least taken out "Bad words" and replaced it with "Profane language." I found several other passages such as this one where the author's choice of words were badly written. Otherwise, the book had a strong, yet slightly distracting plot. If you have a healthy disire to read this book, I suggest that you check it out from a library because it is certainly not worth buying.
Rating: Summary: Love Life Review: The Princess Diary's Series by Meg Cabot will want you reading this intriguing series 24/7. The third book in the series, is Princess in Love. This appealing novel is for teenage girls everywhere. The story of love despair and happiness, even though the father of her mothers baby is her algebra teacher. Put yourself in Princess Mia's position as she goes through tragic times. You will get into this series and read more & more, don't forget to read the first two!My personal evaluation on the book is that people who think there life is hard need to read this series, then they may feel some relief even from just reading! Being a princess doesn't seem very believable, but after you read this series YOU WILL BELIEVE! Put your self in her place for this adventure! I give this book five stars! This book really got me to read more; I was never much of a reader until I discovered the Princess Diary series. I only have one more book to read and I'm hoping the author will come out with more. Don't read this for an English project, read it for fun!
Rating: Summary: One of the best Meg Cabot books! Review: One of the best Meg Cabot books, just because of the ending! I won't give the ending away, but I will say that I liked this one even better than the first two. One crush, one boyfriend, and one rule over a small principality later, Mia is in love. Awesome book!!!
Rating: Summary: Best book in the series Review: In the third installment of the Princess Diaries Series Mia finally has a boyfriend. She would be thrilled except he isn't the one she wanted. When her new boyfriend confessed his love for her Mia decides she has to dump him. However, there are many things that keep her from doing this, not the least of which is her desire not to be dateless at the big dance. Mia's guilt begins to eat at her and she has an important trip to Genovia to worry about as well. Princess in Love offers up pretty much the same witty writing and quirky characters that you loved in the first two but is made even more interesting by Mia's love triangle. In the spirit of all princess stories there's a fairy tale ending and Meg Cabot manages to keep it from being cheesy. This is probably my favorite of the series so far. The series has reached a turning point and I'm afraid that after this the series will loose a lot of steam. We'll see...
Rating: Summary: Princess in Love Review: It is a book sure to please any teenage girl (especially one who ahs a huge crush on someone or one that is flunking Algebra class). You can relate to this book in many ways. Meg Cabot's way of writing this book is professional and sophisticated, yet very funny and treats many "real life" matters. Sure, she's a princess, but she goes to school, snobs treat her badly, and she's about to flunk the class being taught be her new stepfather. A winter dance is coming and her boyfriend (who she does not even like in that way) has not even asked her to it. it's interesting to read. I can promise you that
Rating: Summary: A GREAT BOOK TO READ!! Review: I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK. I HAD READ THE PRINCESS DIARIES SERIES BOOKS PRIOR TO THIS ONE AND I LOVED THEM TOO. THIS BOOK IS THE BEST SO FAR. IT WAS VERY EXCITING TO READ. I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN BECAUSE I WAS ALWAYS CURIOUS TO LEARN WHAT HAPPENS NEXT. I WAS VERY HAPPY TO BE INTRODUCED TO THIS SERIES OF BOOKS BECAUSE I WOULD OF NEVER READ PRINCESS IN LOVE. I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANY TEENAGE GIRL BECAUSE MIA IS A NORMAL GIRL JUST LIKE ANY TEENAGER. SHE STRUGGLES AT SCHOOL, HOME, WITH HER FRIENDS, AND WITH HER LOVE LIFE. I GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL SOMEHOW RELATE TO MIA.
