Review: Rules of the road is a story about a teen that works at Gladstones selling shoes. Suddenly the owner of the store wants her to drive her to all the stores and to Texas to get ready for her retirement. Jenna learns alot and learns to face her fears. The story talks about Jenna's personal life with her dads drinking and her grandmas alzhimers. The story follows them as they go to all the different gladstone stores. Will Jenna learn to face her biggest fear? You are going to have to read the story to find.I give this book five stars.

Review: I'm serious, this book is great! Joan Bauer gets right in to her characters. Jenna, she's sassy, she's smart, she's sweet, she's great! Jenna is the ideal teenager. Except maybe not in the respect that her father is an alocholic and is constantly embarrassing her . . .
I would recommend Rules of the Road to just about anyone. It's about life, about divorce, about sibling rivarly,about losing family and friends, about being able to let go, able losing touch with reality, about getting back in the game when everyone doesn't think you can. This book does it all and more.

Review: Rules of the Road to me was like lifes rules.It is about a girl named Jenna, who works at a shoe store The owner hires her to be her assistant and driver. They go on a long road trip to Texas so Mrs. Gladstone, the owner, can retire and hand the company down to her son Elden. Throughout this book they are faced with many obstacles, such as Jenna dealing with her dad's alcoholism and Mrs. Gladstone needing hip surgy. this book will take you through one girl's journey through teenage life.
I liked this book because it was exciting and never got boring, and it could happen to someone in real life.

Review: I would recommend this book because it's about a girl named Jenna. She lives in Chicago. She was hired by Mrs. Gladstone. Jenna drives Mrs. Gladstone around and they in some cities, towns, and hotels there. There is a man named Elden and he does not like Jenna and he wants his mother to retire so he can takeover the business, but Jenna does not want Mrs. Gladstone to retire. Later, they finally reach Texas, but strange things will unfold once you read this book.

She goes on a journey with the shoe store manager. She ends up saving the manager [Madeline Gladstone] in the stock market meeting. I really like the part about her dad. At first she is scared to tell him about how she feels about him and his drinking problem. Then she ends up telling him how she feels about him. They go through lots together.
