Summary: This book is so SAD!
Review: This book was so sad. I cried a lot. Well... Since they havn't put the review up... I WILL! Winning isn't everything-is it? The Colesford Horse Show has finally arrived. It's a chance for Carole Hanson to show off all the hard work she's done with her favorite horse, Samson. Carole is sure they can ride with the best. That's why she's made the decision to sell her own horse. She knows that she and Samson have a glorious future together-they're headed straight to the winner's circle. Stevie Lake and her horse, Belle, are also competing, but Stevie just wants to enjoy the experience. Of course, a blue ribbon would be nice.... Meanwhile, Lisa Atwood, is confronting a crisis in her life that may mean saying good-bye to one of her oldest loves. Can Lisa face the future after losing so much? There's a lot at stake, but everyone is riding to win. This book is so sad! I won't tell you what happens, but let me just say that the love Lisa looses is NOT Alex. And Mr. Hanson finds out something Carole did that wasn't so great in school

Summary: The series is finally getting good...
Review: This is by far the best Pine Hollow book yet. Even though it is fiction, the characters go through the same realistic ordeals that occur in real life. The plot is creative with many twists and turns but never unrealistic. Riding to Win reveals that Carole, Lisa and Stevie aren't invincible and will have to face some challenges. The reactions of the characters are right on target and we'll see in the future how they respond and handle the hurdles placed before them. Riding to Win is full of surprises and is a definite page turner. For those of you who were missing Ms. Bryant's mention of the horses, then you'll love this book which has more about horses in it than any of the other Pine Hollow books (probably all the Pine Hollow books combined.) I definitely love the direction Ms. Bryant is taking this series and feel that the books can only improve. I whole heartedly recommend this book to anyone, with full confidence that you'll feel your money was well spent. The many challenges that have been bestowed upon Lisa, Carole and Stevie should make for many interesting books to come.

Summary: WHAT'S HAPPENING TO EVERYONE??????????
Review: Why is everyone turning ino a creep??????? Cam and A.J. turned into total weirdos, and Stevie,Lisa, and Carole just don't seem to be as into horses as they used to be. I am an avid competitor at horse shows with my mare April Bloom, and I love horses!!! My point? Unlike the former Saddle Clubbers,I am NOT just going to walk out on the wonderful, wonderful world of horses for something as boring as boys!!!! I don't even know why I read this far in this awful series!*Since Bonnie Bryant just moved up to the older Saddle Club, she should start writing about the Pony Tails again in the books;they would be the same age as the old Saddle Club now. Good Luck,Ms.Bryant!!
