Summary: Careful, you'll get hooked.
Review: If you have ever dreamed of running a major league baseball team this is your chance.

Game was fun. The different levels are good but also within each level of difficulty different teams are easier than others, e.g. being the Yankees is easier because you always have more money.

Only pain is when going from one level of difficulty to another the game gas to reset and that takes a couple of minutes. No that big a deal.

Otherwise, a lot of fun and very addictive. I would suspect that if you enjoyplaying Fantasy Baseball than you will love this game.

Summary: Strictly For Fantasy
Review: If you love detailed stats and complete control of game play you've found your game. As far as computer Baseball games go, I rank this right under High Heat Baseball for overall playability and fun. Worth the money...

Summary: Thanks to This Game I Have No Life
Review: Normally I'm not much into games, but this one has me totally hooked. Think of Civilization or Sim City crossed with managing a baseball team and that's what you get. It is highly addictive and a must for any Napoleanic baseball fan.

Summary: The best baseball GM game around
Review: This game will take a lot of hours out of your life if you let it (this is a good thing...) The flexibility you get with this game is amazing. You can play GM and manager all in the same game and you take as little or as much time as you want.
While the current version deals with points instead of dollars in terms of salaries, it's easy to convert as long as you realize one point = $200,000. Also, there are plenty of user add ons that were created for this game that can be found at a variety of sites such as baseballsimcentral.com.

Summary: Doesn't come close to OOTP
Review: Well, I wonder why people put Baseball Mogul in the same league as Out of the Park Baseball or Season Ticket Baseball. OOTP is so far superior that it's almost frightening. Baseball Mogul is a nice little game, but it lacks key features, for example the ability to actually manage games and there is no online league support. Also, the point system instead of $$ gets boring fast. OOTP 4 will be released March 1st at ..., and it will blow Baseball Mogul out of the water. No competition. None at all. OOTP 3 was already better (by far).

Summary: Substance over Style
Review: You're not going to get arcade play with Baseball Mogul 2002. What you are going to get is one of the best, most comprehensive, and realistic baseball simulation games on the market. The game takes into account player peformance as it correlates to age and experience, salary demands and club revenues, obtaining value in trades with computer owners...almost everything a true baseball fan has longed for but which most software makers have overlooked. You really can't go wrong with Mogul 2002.
