Summary: The price is right...
Review: (1) As the title says...

(2) The only potential drawback is that the minidiscs don't come in individual plastic cases. They still come with larger multi-disc plastic cases that are just fine for carrying discs around...

Summary: Cool
Review: After buying my MiniDisc player, I bought these little discs because they were cute and on clearance. They have yet to let me down. I can make CDs and listen to them in my MiniDisc player, my computers and my DVD player.

Summary: These discs are SNAZZY!
Review: Along with the great price and quality of these discs, these discs are the coolest around. Their attractive colors (blue, orange, yellow, green, red) make them easy to organize your collection. The price is unbelievable as well. $30 for 20? They're a little bit pricier than CD-R, so it would be best to wait around a little bit if you have a CD burner. But for MD owners, I tried finding these in stores, and I couldn't...maybe it was just my luck? I dunno...but Amazon has a fast delivery service, as well. But a little note- you may want to stick the labels on them, because with 4 cases of the same colors, you could easily get them mixed up...but hey, don't you have to do that on all of the other MDs?

Summary: A great value
Review: At this price, these discs are a great buy. I think everyone would do well to read the review below that explains the Mini Disc market. Essentially, there are only a few manufaturers of MiniDiscs. Memorex, Sony, et al, simply relabel the product with their brand. My own personal experience is congruent with this. None of the other MDs I have purchased differ in quality from these. At this price, I'll never buy anything else. The only drawback of these is the lack of individual case. But that's a quibble.

Summary: They are very poor quality
Review: Buy sony or tdk. These are made cheaply.

Summary: Great discs, great value!
Review: Combined with the falling prices of Minidisc portables, these discs are one of the reasons I'm an MD convert! The expensive price of blanks was one reason I waited so long to get an MD recorder, but these discs are a great value. I've had no trouble with any of them, and the storage boxes that come with them are great for keeping them organized.

Summary: Do not buy these mini-disks!
Review: Do noy buy these disks! After spending all the time to put songs on these disks, the piece of metal that covers the actual disk (which is inside the casing) begins to come off, and the disk will get stuck inside your mini-disk player! Not only does it make it a pain to get the disks out of the player, but one will get stuck in there for good and render your player unusable. Just spend the extra few bucks and get some good disks for a change!

Summary: wonderful deal for avid MD enthusiasts but no purple
Review: Everyone must be catching on to what a great deal this is as it went from 26 to 29+bucks. The fact that they are packed 5 per case is nice if you like to do as I do, and make sets of music such as all baroque, or all jazz, to bring on trips or just for the bedside listening. The tapes are sturdy enough unless you are a gorilla, or with the world fed of wrestling. I was a little surprised at some white dust that was on the individual mds, but brushing it off seemed to do the trick. I was not pleased that my favorite color purple was not in the box, only some kind of sickly yellow/champagne color. I would love the price to go back to 26 instead of 29bucks but it is still a great deal.

Summary: flimsy doors
Review: For cheap discs, these do the job, but don't count on them to last. Under heavy-use (everyday in & out), the metal doors get loose and bend outwards. I've actually had quite a few come that way...just loose. I now have gone through all of the discs, removed the doors, bent them into a tighter shape, replaced them and they work much better. As for the actual media, they give quite a few TOC errors and have more bad sections than desired...not too hot. I wish amazon carried Lumina, Victor, or Sony ES...those are great.
