Summary: Best Ranma Movie To Date
Review: I have been a fan of Ranma 1/2 since my high school days, and way before Pokémon was advertising it on it's videos. I have been involved in the fanfiction/fansites and fanclubs that follow this wonderful series from the genius mind of Rumiko Takahashi, and I think I can safely say that this is one of the best Ranma 1/2 plot lines out of all of the animated features (OAV, TV and Movie included) ever done.

I do not want to spoil the movie for you if you haven't seen it, but the basic plotline is that Ranma and the gang head out to sea in Kunou's new yacht and end up shipwrecked on an island. And island ruled by an illusion master prince, who happens to be looking for a bride, and is collecting young girls in order to make a good selection.

Suffice it to say a battle royal follows post haste when most of the girls are stolen from Ranma and the gang, and the movie winds down with Ranma making a HUGE sacrafice for Akane, along with demonstrating new techniques for both Ranma and Ryouga.

Over all if you like Anime you will like this DVD. If you like Ranma 1/2, you will love this DVD.

Summary: Better Ranma Movie
Review: I have seen the first movie long time ago and didn't like it. So, when I know that both movie are out for DVD, this is the sure pick for me. The plot is very much like the first one, but the end product is way better. I especially like the animation. There is one thing I don't like that much is the Japanese audio track. It's only in stereo. Although, I don't have the Dolby Digital equipment to fully enjoy the 5.1 sound track, I still notice the difference between the 5.1 English sound track and the plain old stereo Japanese sound track. Overall, it's a nice movie if you don't mind the audio quality.

Summary: Very GOOD movie!
Review: I have to say Ranma 1/2 is one of my favorites series of all time. This is the second movie of the series and clearly a great Anime movie. Also just a great movie.
If you want laughs please don't skipped this movie. A MUST have for Ranma fans.

Summary: RANMA!
Review: I thought this movie was ok but could of been better if they would of thought of a better story line. There are really good scenes and some good battles but it could of been longer and better in some kind of way. I have a large collection and will continue with ranma 1/2 as the series are really getting good. I hope they make a movie 3 where when they are done with ranma's that finally ranma and Akane both marry each other. But until then they continue with this awesome series.

Summary: Ying and Yang was never so much fun!tm
Review: I would recommend this DVD to anyone who has seen the show and liked it. I would'nt suggest this to someone who has'nt seen the show. You really need a knowledge of the show to understand the movie. The extras are very cool and you get both the dubbed and subbed version on one disc! The movie brings together all the characters from the show. I won't ruin the movie by saying what its about, but lets just say that everyone ends up getting ship wrecked on a small island and it just gets going from there. If your a fan of Ranma 1/2 buy this right away.

Summary: The Best So Far!
Review: I've collected Ranma stuff for quite a while now, but of all the videos I've seen, this is undoubtably the best. Despite the semi-sexist plot (in which all the females are saved by the males) and rather predictable ending, it had some great moments. Ryouga's fight stands out especially in my mind. The dubbing is also great, for a Ranma video. My only real complaint is the touchy-feely Ranma & Akane sequences. Akane should go for Ryouga!

Summary: Funny characters
Review: I've watched this in both English and Japanese, and found the English track to be hilarious! There is slight nudity (Ranma-chan) when her shirt is pulled off by that old pervert (ya know who I'm talking about). The plot is very interesting, but in this movie and the first one, it's all about rescuing Akane. But in this one, at least Mousse has more screen time, not to mention Akane's sisters and the rest of the Ranma cast. Shampoo's broken english sounds bad in English, but it's better in Japanese. The characters are hilarious, all the ones transformed from the magical water on the island. Mostly humor, as with most Ranma movies/episodes, and best suited for a 13 and up audience.

Summary: Damsels in distress
Review: My ten year old son and his (male) friend enjoyed this, but I (mom) was disappointed. We're all Ranma fans. One of my favorite aspects is the strength and martial arts skills of the female characters. Here, all the girls get kidnapped and wait for the boys/men to rescue them, which they, of course, do. What gives? Such a departure from the strong female characters in the manga and TV anime I wondered how much input Rumiko Takahashi had into it. If you like Ranma you'll like seeing the characters, but the outlook is sure disappointingly different from the manga & anime.
