Summary: One of the best comedies ever made!
Review: I've seen this movie so many times(including its debut in theatres)that I recently got sick of renting it and just bought it. You can honestly watch this one over and over and still laugh like you are seeing it for the first time. A must have for all true comedy buffs.

Summary: Unlike the wife next door, this DVD is worth $10 million.
Review: Monty Capuletti (Rodney Dangerfield), a hard working but lovable man, is in a bit of a stitch. He stands to inherit 10 million dollars when his snobby mother-in-law (Geraldine Fitzgerald) goes down in a plane crash. The catch: he must curb all vices for one year, which include overeating, smoking, drinking, gambling and debauchery. If he cannot reform, the moolah goes to Clive Barlow (Jeffrey Jones), a greedy relative who tries to trip up Monty on his $10 million quest, but he gets help from his best friend (Joe Pesci) and his family. Can Monty do it? Subplots involve his oldest daughter's wedding, and Monty pioneering the new fashion for his late mother-in-law's store: The Regular Guy Look.

First of all, Rodney is in top form here as your average Joe Sixpack, and the actors playing his family are great too. Joe Pesci is a little underused, but his performance makes up for it. Writing and directing are top notch. The disc gives you a choice of either full-frame or widescreen formats, both crisp and clear. The sound is presented in Dolby Digital 2.0 sound, and is excellent. The extras are lacking for this great a movie: only a trailer (presented in full-frame) is present, but the movie more than makes up for this.

Summary: The best Rodney Dangerfield movie. Really.
Review: Not a single classless cliché has been omitted from this all-time comedy classic. From the lime-green and lavender wedding gowns and the magic fingers bed assist, to the all timer, the "Regular Guy Look", Easy Money just keeps coming at you with one hilarious situation, another memorable line after another.

Joe Pesci brings just as much to the table as Rodney here alternately feeding, then stealing the yucks. And Jeffrey Jones plays the perfect foil-the genesis of his famous Dean Rooney in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Add Taylor Negron and Tom Noonan, not to mention Jennifer Jason Leigh and you have some serious talent working hard for the money.

And they're so good, they make it look easy.

Summary: The "Regular Guy" movie!!!
Review: The first half-hour of this movie is one of the funniest stretches of film ever created. A day in the life of Staten Island's own Monty Capuletti: 15 minutes of work and errands followed by trips to the track, the go-go bar, the back-room craps game, and the late night diner run. This movie has it all: Rodney crashing into the Christmas tree on his stationary bike, Joe Pesci giving his armpits a quick trim, memorable quotes, great writing, great acting, and a fantastic soundtrack. Buy this movie if you've ever wondered, "What do people do when they're not gettin' loaded?"

Summary: What's The Word...Class
Review: The late great Rodney Dangerfield appeared in three really great films during his career. My all time favorite movie of his is without question Caddyshack. Next up is Back To School--To be followed up closely by Easy Money. All three of these performances from Dangerfield are howlingly funny and helped to ensure his comedic legacy for generations to come.

In Easy Money, Monty Capuletti has some real nice incentive to reform his reputation as a total schlep. if he can give up all of his vices for a year, he'll receive a fortune from his late mother-in-law. But Clive (Jeffrey Jones), the man who oversees the mother-in-law's store, will do whatever it takes to stop Monty from inheriting the company. Monty enlists his pal Nicky's (Joe Pesci) help in coping with the loss of booze, cigarettes and poker -- but between his daughter Allison's (Jennifer Jason Leigh) marriage to a punk named Julio (Taylor Negron) and Clive's underhanded tricks, the challenge may be tougher than Monty realizes.

Directed by James Signorelli, from a script by Dangerfield, Michael Endler, P.J. O'Rourke and Dennis Blair, the film has plenty to like and laugh over. Dangerfield's cinema classics have one common denominator--Easy Money is no exception--a great "sparing partner" Jones as the smarmy Clive is just pitch perfect. This role put Jones in training for his turn in Ferris Bueller's Day Off as the principal. The teaming of Dangerfield and future Goodfella Pesci is about as good as it gets. As the pair plot to one up Clive at every turn things get more outrageous by the minute. Rodney's trademark zingers are here as well.

The DVD's only extra is the theatrical trailer. (...)

Summary: One of the funniest ever....
Review: There are so many funny scenes in this movie. Rodney and Joe Pesci are hilarious together. The son in law is too funny. A must see comedy. I've seen it at least 10 times and still laugh so hard.

Summary: Rodney is one of the greats!
Review: This is a movie that I had been waiting for...and the wait was well worth it. In addition to being one of the funniest movies ever made, it has also aged very well. If you loved it almost 20 years ago, you'll still love it today. It just gets funnier with every viewing! Rodney and Pesci are without a doubt one of the most dynamic comedy pairings ever! I gave this DVD 4 stars because the Spanish audio track is far superior(cleaner), to the English audio track...why?

This movie will make you feel good...buy it!
