Summary: Rodney at His Best
Review: This is by far the best movie Rodney Dangerfield has ever made. This is the only movie where the other characters in the movie are just as important as he is. Not only that but the supporting cast has Joe Pesci in his prime.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Classic Rodney! (R.I.P)
Review: This is one of those movies I saw a million times on HBO as a kid. My mother and I would laugh like hyenas. Anytime we'd heard a crying baby, we'd say "Somebody, anybody, please shut that little b*stard up!". Even though this film did not do well at the box office, I thought it was much better than "Back To School". Regarding the reviewers comments about that missing scene . . . I thought I had dreamed that up. I regret getting rid of my old VHS copy! Anyway, a LOT of great laughs in this one. THANK YOU, RODNEY! WE LOVE YOU!

Summary: One of the best comedies ever
Review: This is the best Dangerfield movie ever made easily. No Disney-esque cover-ups, just raw Rodney and a younger Joe Pesci who is a perfect comedic partner for him.

It's silly, full of great one-liners, has all kinds of trashy but likeable people, and keeps you laughing from start to finish, literally, every single scene is funny.

The DVD version goes for a low price and looks great.

Summary: Can I Call You Dad?
Review: This movie and Back To School I think are probably Dangerfield's better movies where he plays the main character. The amount of silly jokes and low standards of living that Dangerfield enjoys while being a compulsive gambler, drinker, smoker and eater is very entertaining. Dangerfield is forced to clean up his act in order to receive an large inheritance from his mother-in-law. Does Dangerfield do it? Can he stop gambling, womanizing, drinking and lose those unwanted pounds? Joe Pesci is Dangerfield's best friend in the movie and his role adds to the hilarious, silly fun in this movie as a man tries to go "clean" and inherit a fortune.

Summary: real life gut buster
Review: this movie has to be in the top ten funniest of all time. i mean how can you not laugh at a man who is in the bathroom looking for a "roach holder" and finds his daughter's eyelash curler and then quip as only HE can, "This is da best ting bout havin daughtas!", or how bout when he is on the diet, "I cant eat all my home fries, , ya want some home fries?" all the while he is staring at a pill. whenver i am down, this movie lifts me up. what a great movie!

Summary: Non stop laughter
Review: This movie has two of the most funnest guys in Hollywood in Rodney Dangerfield playing Monty and Joe Pesci playing Mickey. It is a great movie for any american man who is married. When the mean, complaining mother-in-law dies,Monty and his family get her money if Monty can give up some of his habits.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very Funny Film!
Review: This movie is a riot. Rodney Dangerfield is at his best, along with Joe Pesci, Jeff Jones and a lot of supporting stars including Taylor Negron, Lawrence Leritz and Jennifer Jason Leigh.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Rags-To-Riches story, starring Rodney Dangerfield as himself
Review: This movie is a vehicle for Dangerfield, who plays the part of Monty Cappaletti, baby photographer. Amidst family hassles, including his lovely daughter's marriage to a Puerto Rican macho-dude who drives a Chevy low-rider, Cappaletti stands to inherit millions from his mother-in-law's department store estate, if only he can stay clean and sober for a year. Joe Pesci co-stars as Cappaletti's best friend, who doesn't afford much assistance with the "clean and sober" task at hand. This is no "Caddyshack" (a comedy classic!), but it's a pleasant and funny movie. The wedding scenes are hilarious; Rodney's "regular guy" wardrobe is superb.

Summary: A classic captured on DVD
Review: This movie is certainly one of the best written, funny, witty, and outrageous of all time. It is a classic. The DVD version is perfect, and it should be in everyone's collection. Joe Pesci chasing the silky driver is a hoot.
