Review: American Wedding is Steve Stifler's Movie! The plot of the movie centers on Stifler(Sean William Scott)! Stifler meets a new woman in his life Cadence Flarity(January Jones)! He learns his lesson when he invites himself to Jim Levinstein and Michelle Flarity's wedding and mess-up the everything! This is a good movie but too much plot is on Stifler and not enough on Jim (Jason Biggs) and Michelle(Alsyon Hannigan)!They are the ones getting married not Stifler! Good kind hearted movie that is very sweet and funny! Highly Recommended!

Review: This movie was so awful. Loved the first 2, but this one just made me roll my eyes a lot. Stiffler was stupid...the usual gross out scenes were disgusting and predictable...and the only semi-funny parts were already shown in the trailor. Don't waste your time and money.

Review: I know that my title has been previously used a few times, but it truly expresses what I think about the movie American Wedding. I have seen the movie twice and I honestly believe that it is the best American Pie movie out of the raunchy trilogy. The movie is very funny, but it will probably only be funny for those that liked the first two because well, it does get pretty raunchy. What's different about this movie compared to movies like Porky's and Fast Times at Ridgemont High is that it has a lot of heart. These are actually characters that one can really care about and that makes the experience even more enjoyable. There a couple new characters that you are boumd to love including a woman named Candace and Bear. But Seann William Scott's Stifler is used quite often and will remind you that even the biggest jerks can redeem themselves in one way, shape, or form.

Review: I loved this movie. It was hysterical. I'm a guy and i don't get offended easilly but I almost barfed at the dog poop scene. It was that bad. Stiffler , Jim , Jim's Dad , Finch , Kevin , Stifflers Mom , And Michelle Are All Back For The Final Time. This Time There's Gonna Be Hell. The Gangs Back For The Wedding Of Jim And Michelle. Jim's Dad Comes Armed With His Usual Lectures. Stiffler Unexpectedly Arrives. Finch And Stifflers Mom Get It On Again. A Good Movie For Fans Of The Series.

Review: I just want to say that I think "American Wedding" is great. The wedding of Jim and Michelle stands as the culmination of years of their awkward sexual antics and genuine love for one another. They have matured (in some ways, and in some ways not). It's the best way for the "American Pie" series to end, on a positive note. As to some of the other comments I've seen here and other places, I just wanted to add that I don't think it matters that nearly half of the original cast is absent in this concluding installment of the series. Don't misunderstand, I loved the chemistry of the original cast, but I don't think that they were that important to bring back again. To be quite frank, most of the female parts in the original film and subsequent sequel were relatively minor. The main story seemed to be focused more on this group of young guys looking to find a balance between lust and love. Take Shannon Elizabeth's character Nadia, she plays the sexy foreign exchange student, the perfect foil to Jim's bumbling, clumsy, awkward, less self-assured character. However, I don't think she had nearly as good of a part in the second one. She seemed fake and her character contrived. Again, look at Tara Reid's character, in the original she played Vicky, Kevin's girlfriend. Vicky epitomized the "average girl." She cares for her boyfriend and they seem to have a good relationship, but in reality, she is scared to take that next more physical step in their relationship. When they finally do take that step, the relationship crumbles and we see that all the pressure they had been laying on themselves to actually do it maybe clouded the fact that they weren't ready and that college could, and would separate them. Mena Suvari as Heather was another intriguing character, however, I must say I felt she was a little one-dimensional, at least up until the point when she and Oz finally get together. I think that all the female characters seem to serve a generalized (not necessarily stereotyped) view of different types of women. They weren't really developed as much as the male characters.
The one female character that I thought was great and should have been developed more in the original was Michelle. I'm sorry, but anyone who thinks her character is archetypal is nuts. She is a completely unique and genuine soul who never stops surprising you. Also, Chris Klein is notably absent. His character Oz in the first film particularly, was a combination of the typical high school jock mentality and a geniuine compassion and desire to find more than just a girl to sleep with. Now, getting back to the point at hand. Do we really need Nadia in "American Wedding"? I think it would be inappropriate for her to attend the wedding when you look back at the relationship she had with Jim's charater, primarily in first but also in the second film. Jim is incredibly in love with Michelle. They're personalities mesh to make them a more endearing couple than say, Jim and Nadia. So, following this logic, Shannon Elizabeth isn't needed for "American Wedding." Now lets take Vicky (Reid). Why would she go to the wedding when she wasn't really friends with Jim and she didn't even say one word to Michelle? She and Kevin broke up in the original and their decision was cemented in AP2, so it's not like she would attend as his date. So, again, what would be the point? I'll lump Chris Klein and Mena Suvari together because they are a couple who we saw in AP and AP2 were so in love and truly devoted to one another. Klein as Oz seemed less of a best friend to Jim than did some of the other characters. Of course, they were friends, but I think his life was moving in an opposite direction from his friends ever since his transformation in AP. So, if he isn't coming back, then why Heather (Suvari)? She was certainly not friends with Oz's friends, so if she attended, it would seem odd. A little side note, too bad Klein isn't back though because I think he's adorable.
I think that the cast we are left with is the crux of all the "American Pie" films and some of the most humorous. One last comment before I go, I think it's a little silly to say that the 2 strippers in the movie are meant to fill the gap left by Nadia's absence. Look at AP2, when the guys are painting the house and the whole scene with Stifler, Jim, and Finch unfolds. Nadia was in AP2 so the two girls weren't replacing her. I think it's just par for the course that "American Wedding" have some provactive characters.

Summary: AWESOME--BUT MISSING SOMETHING
Review: AMERICAN WEDDING is a great film--no doubt about it. It's funny. Ultimately, it lacks something that the first two AMERICAN PIE films had. Don't get me wrong, it has plenty of heart. There's just something missing from it makes for a sequel that doesn't add up to its previous predecessors. I did have a few problems with the film. I can't blame them for changing their hangouts...being that they've grown up and have just graduated from college, so I would assume that they wouldn't still be hanging out at Dog Years. First off, Oz (Chris Klein) didn't return. I knew that he wouldn't because I read it somewhere. The problem that I have with that is that they didn't make an excuse for his abscence... or the abscence of the rest of the missing cast, for that matter. I guess I could live with the rest of the cast missing, but Oz is one of the original main characters. The least they could do is give a reason for him being gone... maybe he went to Mexico with Heather, or perhaps some other reason. Whatever, there are millions of reasons that he could've missed the wedding for. The least they could do is explain why Oz isn't making it one of his best friends' wedding. In the movie, it seemed as if they didn't even invite him. Also, you should know that this movie takes place three years after the second film . Another problem that has to do with the missing Oz factor is somewhere near the ending of the film, Jim thanks his friends with a speech about how they always have his back, and the only reason that he finds a way to solve his problems is because of his best friends. In that big Hollywood speech, he didn't even mention Oz. That was kind of weird. All other things could've been taken care of. Oz could've had an excuse, or whatever...but not mentioning Oz in the big speech was a big mistake. Oz always had his back along with the rest of the group. I know it sounds like I'm some weird kid who is obsessed with Chris Klein, but I'm actually not. It's just that I hate it when movies are great, but then they make sequels that ditch one the main characters, and don't even mention them. They could've paid tribute. Another thing is that this film feels like it isn't another AMERICAN PIE film. No offense, but it kinda feels like someone just got the rights to the characters, and made a whole another story including them. I do think that at the beginning of the film, they overdid Stifler's act. I'm not saying he was in too much of it, but it seemed like Stifler was even more dumb than usual. It was too much. If you are as big an AMERICAN PIE fan as I am, than you'll notice that to. Another thing, Kevin seemed like a different character. I mean he still had the same role in the relationship of the characters, but it seemed like his role in the actual film wasn't as big as in the other two films. I still like this movie, though. I guess that this the natural close to a saga like AMERICAN PIE. It wasn't the same, but oh well. I think that all of the actors did a great job returning as the characters that they brought to life in 1999. Once again, Seann William Scott did an awesome job as Stifler and stole the show. One question I might add, it probably won't be true, but due to Chris Klein's abscence, is it possible that Oz was just one of their childhood friends that they'll remember for life, but have lost touch with. No, there is probably some good reason. Another thing, I am not a derranged fan, just a big fan of the films. I feel that the AMERICAN PIE saga is one of the greatest stories of our time. It is a classic that will always be around. I guess that this is how the story closes. True fans gotta enjoy this conclusion. It's laugh-out-loud funny, and you will enjoy it, but once you watch this film, you'll probably feel the need to watch the other two film over agin. Again, I'm not a derranged fan, just a big fan of the films.

Summary: If you're 15 - 35, ignore the critics and watch this movie.
Review: I was not really looking forward to this movie given all the horrible reviews I've read in the newspapers, Entertainment Weekly, etc. While watching the movie, I was shocked at how funny it was. It was almost as funny as the first one. I don't know what the "professional" reviewers were thinking when they panned the movie, other than figuring that my friend who I saw the movie with was right when he said, "Movies for young people shouldn't be reviewed by old men." I have to say I agree. Not only does this third installment offer the requisite hilariously gross Stiffler scene (kudos to Sean William Scott for doing whatever the directors/writers ask of him every time out), but there are several great scenes in which Stiffler and Finch pretty much trade personalities. Sean William Scott gets 90% of the laughs. I hope they spin off this character into a movie or two of his own. Thomas Ian Nichols doesn't really do much as Kevin (which is too bad, because he's a good actor in his own right), but Eugene Levy and Fred Willard do their always hilarious performances. Even Stiffler's mom sneaks in a cameo. If you like "gross" movies, you'll love this movie. If you like high-brow films, you'll hate it.

Review: Unlike some I watched the American Pie movies only maybe twice. The first movie was better than the second in my opinion. However, American wedding was hilarious. I laughed so hard at Stifler in this movie. I am actually happy with the cast that remained in this installment of the series. With this movie it makes me feel like they should have simply used these remaining cast members for the entire series. I have seen this movie 3 times and I laugh each time I watch it.
It is a great summer movie just for a good fun experience at the movies.

Review: I went in thinking this was "A rental" But I was very happily suprised. This is the best one yet. It was funny, with that wonderfull boy-teen humour we have come to love from the cast. The cast was smaller but there was no shortage of suprises and down right laughs. The clips did not take away from the movie at all. Go see this.

Review: I thought the first American Pie movie was hilarious, one of the funniest movies I've seen. I was anxious to see the sequel, but while it had its moments, didn't win me over like the first movie. American Wedding is the third installment, and is it one funny movie. It has been a while since I remember laughing so much at a film.

The basic premise is that Jim is getting married. The rest is just a setup for rude gags that just keep getting better.
