Summary: Wanted to laugh...
Review: Caught the matine on sunday early afternoon...About 25 or so in the crowd. I wanted to hope it was equal to the 1st, or at least as good as #2-but WHAT A LET DOWN! only heard a few small laughs throughout the entire film. I was bored and couldn't wait for the end.

Summary: I'll Never Eat Another Truffle
Review: American Wedding is a worthy followup to the earlier American Pie films. There are plenty of laughs to be found, and the actors are all terrific. I highly recommend this film to anyone who liked the previous movies.

Summary: A Good Way to End the Pie Series
Review: Wow! This movie definitely holds up the high standards set by the first 2 movies. I think that this movie was just as good as the previous two, with just as many laughs! The only disappointment I have is that not all of the cast came back, however, with all the guys back but Oz you still get the good friendship and jokes with them. This movie makes many references to the past 2 movies, which I enjoyed. I was really worried that this third movie might be disappointing compared to the other two, but it wasn't! If you're a fan of the pie movies, definitely check this one out.

Summary: Damn I was surprised, this was much better then I expected
Review: Being a huge fan of the American Pie movies I decided that I had to see the third and final one. I wasn't that excited about it because I thought that it would be impossible to top, let alone, compare to the first and second. This movie was not as good as the second(my favorite of the series), though it lives up to it's predecesors(I'm a bad speller). The movie was crudely disgusting like the others(never said that was a bad thing). The movie had very few moments where I wasn't laughing my (butt)off, but only because they were working up to a joke and because it needed to be serious at a couple times. Most of the characters are back which surprised me for I had heard that only Stiffler, Jim, Jim's Dad, and Michelle were going to be the only returning characters; Finch, Kevin, and Stiffler's Mom(for a few minutes) returned for the movie. I was disapointed to hear that Vicki and Oz didn't return. Though some new characters were added for only this movie like Michelle's parents and sister.
Now to give you the idea of the movie, which is not really given during the trailers. The movie was ofcourse about Jim proposing to Michelle, but is placed from the proposal through the wedding. It is placed after college, showing where everyone is in life(the movie is not based on it, the movie just tells where everyone is at the moment the goes on). During the movie Finch and Stiffler fight over Michelle's beautiful and intelligent younger sister, going extremely far to try to get her.
I feel that this movie was probably the best 3rd movie of a trilogy considering it is very hard to make a sequel to a sequel good without being repetative of the first 2. Thank you for reading my review and I hope you enjoy this movie as much as I did.

Summary: Not perfect, but a perfect end to The American Pie Trilogy
Review: The American Pie films may be laced with toilet humor(which it does so well),but they stand out due to the characters being so likeable and the stories having a heart.
AW(dealing with the wedding between newly college grads Jim & Michelle), most likely the last in the trilogy,is not entirely fresh, but still manages to make you laugh and smile.Steven Stifler(Sean William Scott, who basically steals the movie)rates high on the obnoxious meter, but you still have to love the guy as even he grows up towards the end of the movie.
Jason Biggs' Jim Levenstien(one day a pop culture icon for geeks)still knows how to get into a crazy situation(The opening dinner scene, his pre wedding "haircut"),and Alyson Hannigan's Michelle shows how a one time flute-toting band geek can blossom into a beautiful young woman.
Even before I saw the movie, the biggest disappointments were the abscence of the girls (Mena Suvari,Tara Reid,Natasha Lyonne)who made the first two movie so great.Equally missed is Chris Klein's Oz which throws off the chemestry between Jim,Finch(Eddie Kaye Thomas), and Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas).Although Eugene Levy's portrayal of "Jim's Dad" is still a favorite among fans.Even Chris Owen's "Sherman-ator" would've been a welcome presence.
Though the formula's been sitting out for a while,American Wedding shows that some "Pies" are still consumable before it goes stale.

Summary: Oh....My....God !!!!
Review: This was absolutely hilarious non stop outrageous fun. After seeing American Pie II, I was a little skeptical about seeing this, but now I cant wait for the next movie. This ranked right up with American Pie 1 and maybee beyond. Stiffler Rules!! Not all the original stars are in this one but the key players are here and it worked for me, although I'll miss Nadia but not for her acting skills. See this but leave the young ones at home!

Summary: american wedding BLISS!
Review: I saw the movie the day it came out. well, I am sorry to see that all the characters did not participate--but then it does not matter. it just gives the writers less to worry about and then they can focus on some of the more interesting characters. that being said, the movie is right on par with the others----it has a heart and meaning, grossout humor, nudity and downright funny situations. sometimes less can be more and this is one of those times. go see the movie and sit back and laugh your a$$ off. it will be money well spent. what more do you want from a movie with its kind of track record.

Summary: The Better Years...AMERICAN WEDDING
Review: WELL, JIM AND THE GANG ARE BACK FOR THE FINAL INSTALLMENT OF THE AMERICAN PIE SERIES. BUT EXPECT TO SEE LESS THE CAST... ESPECIALLY IN THE FEMALE DEPARTMENT. NOT RETURNING THIS TIME AROUND: NADIA (SHANNON ELIZABETH), JESSICA (NATASHA LYONNE), VICKY (TARA REID), HEATHER (MENA SUVARI), AND OZ (CHRIS KLEIN). DESPITE ALL THE LOSS OF CHARACTERS AMERICAN WEDDING HOLDS TRUE TO IT'S AMERICAN PIE TIES. THE GAGS ARE BETTER AND STIFLER IS FEATURED A LOT MORE THIS TIME AROUND. HILARIOUS SCENES INCLUDE: A DANCING SCENE, AND A BACHELOR PARTY, JUST TO NAME A FEW. THE REVIEWS FROM CRITICS HAVE THEM SAYING THIS IS THE BEST OF THE AMERICAN PIE SERIES, CHECK IT OUT.

Review: I sat though 15 minutes of this "film" and then walked out. It's the worst piece of [film]that I have ever seen and should have been rated XXX for the language alone. Save your money and don't bother with this one....

Summary: Very Bad Way Too End A Great Series!
Review: I have to admit, the American Pie movies are some of my guilty pleasures. I laughed until it hurt through both movies. I own both on DVD and watch them alot. I looked forward to this movie, and saw it this evening- the opening night.

I am not surprised that they did not call this movie American Pie 3, because it does not seem like an "American Pie". The jokes fall flat, everything seems stale. Many key characters that were intregal parts of the first two movies are not here this time- Oz and Heather, Nadia, Vicky, Jessica and Sherman-ator are conspicuously absent. And they are missed! It is like having a family reunion with half the family missing and no explanation. The big party scene- the pivitol point of both Pie movies- absent in this one, and it is not as if there is not opportunity for it. The first two movies revolved around the friendship of the four guys- Oz, Finch, Jim and Kevin. But this time, it is left to Stifler to carry most of the movie. This is not a good thing. Stifler's character is great at peppering humor into the plot, not being the plot point. Kevin has hardly any lines or screen time. Jim's sexual bumblings are less shocking and funny- less buildup and less punch-line. Finch- instead of dry wit is just dry mostly. Michelle- "one time at bandcamp..."- is more serious and through most of the movie she is a person with substance and depth, instead of a vapid prop, when at the end it sinks and she is once again a blank staring vapid prop- without the bandcamp line or the funny half drugged voice she delivers it in. There are some inexplicable plot lines too- Jim has never met Michelle's parents or sister. How is that possible after three years of serious dating, when they went to prom together and grew up in the same town. He never once went to her house? It seems they were trying to throw in a "Meet the Parents" sub-plot, but it was developed in a half-hearted, frenzied way that is more confusing than funny.

I gave it one star because I wanted to like this movie and just couldn't. It seems they couldn't decide if it was an American Pie sequal or a wedding comedy- and in the end it didn't feel like either. Poorly put together, poorly played out, poor lines, poor jokes and poor plot.
