Summary: Don't be fooled- not a cardiovascular workout!!
Review: I purchased this DVD because it advertised to have "2 complete 20-minute workouts" to help us ladies shrink our female fat zones. However I feel as if I was misled because in my mind, I'm thinking that these workouts are actually aerobics/cardiovascular exercises with weights and a stability ball, BUT THEY ARE NOT! I did not feel "worked out" after doing both exercises like I normally do with any of my several Denise Austin workouts. This workout is good if you are looking only to tone up your muscles or do simple weight training; not necessarily to get a good workout that has you sweating. But if you are looking for an aerobic workout with weights, try Denise Austin's Personal Training System instead. I feel this is better because you get a cardiovascular workout AND several toning sections of beginner, intermediate, and advanced for your entire body. She basically does the same exercises anyway in both videos. You definitely get a better deal buying the latter.

Summary: I love it , perfect for after having a baby
Review: I started using this DVD about 7 weeks after having my baby now after 3.5 months I'm still using the DVD, is great, I feel great, it works all your body. I gained about 60 lbs. with my pregnancy and already lost 35. I recommend it for the person who wants to start working out or re-start working out.

Summary: Wonderful
Review: I'm 43 years old and started working out with Denise's "Fit and Lite" on Lifetime every morning because I wanted to tone up. The female fat zones were starting to become apparent! After doing "Fit and Lite" for a month, I decided that I wanted more...so I purchased "Shrink Your Female Fat Zones." I NOW have definition in my body...and my abs are really shaping up nicely! A very invigorating work out. I feel wonderful when I'm finished.

Summary: OK, but not what I'd hoped for
Review: I'm a Denise Austin fan, and have several other videos by her. I like her chatty style, it keeps me going through the tough spots. Also, I'm 68 and badly out of shape after recovering from a back injury. I wanted a "beginner" type workout. I bought her book of the same title and love it. I hoped the DVD would have the exercises broken out the same way they are in the book, and I would be able to skip from track to track with the DVD technology to create a custom workout that got tougher as I got stronger. Wrong. This is two twenty minute workouts, although the transition to the second part is not well marked and makes it hard to stop the DVD at the exact point so you can do the second part at a different time. The exercises on the DVD work well for me, but it is still not what I hoped for, so I'm afraid I can only give it 3 stars.

Summary: Okay She Has an Annoying Voice...
Review: It is not a cardio workout nor is it advertised as one. It is two separate twenty minute workouts. 1-20 minute using only weights and the other using weights and the stability ball. I use this to tone and for the abdominals. I use Jane Fonda Step Aerobic or Billy Blanks Cardio for a CARDIO workout. I am working out and really don't care about her voice. I can ignore it.

Summary: Great Workout!!
Review: Ok, I'm not into the gym scene and I like to rotate my workouts. I've really enjoyed this workout because it's different. The stability ball is so much fun! I've been losing weight and staying fit with Denise's videos through three pregnancies and this is my favorite workout for toning. I've really noticed a change in my abs and my posture just after three weeks! This is an excellent workout!!

Summary: good but not accurate
Review: The video is a good workout on its own. When I bought this with the book "Shrink Your Female Fat Zones", I assumed it would be a "spot training" video to actually go with the book; your own personal fat zone - IT DID NOT. It mixed them all up. On its own the workout is good, but DO NOT buy this video if you think it's going to go with the book in that sense.

Summary: I love the DVD!!!
Review: This DVD is awesome!! Denise Austin is very motivating. I do this entire workout everyday but Sunday. I have been using it for about 1 month and my body is actually starting to look like it did before I had my 2 children (my son is 4 and my daughter is 1). I started out using 2lb weights and now I am using 5lbs. The stability ball is really fun to work with. Using this DVD and eating right I have lost 20lbs in the past month. I actually have definition in my arms and legs (still working on the abs!)!!! This is a great DVD for any woman that wants to tone up.

Summary: Too Fast, her voice is irritating!
Review: This DVD is not helpful at all! It's too fast; you need to buy a ball that takes a lot of space otherwise you can't do the exercices. Denise is not motivating and her voice can irritate someone really fast.

I have practiced aerobics for a long time and it's the first time I take no pleasure making exercise!

Summary: Ok for beginners, but I'm not feeling the burn
Review: This is an okay exercise if you're just starting out, but I work out (cardio and weights) 5 times a week and this video didn't help. It's great if you need an easy day if you're sore from an intense workout, but I wouldn't recommend it as your principle toning video.

It does, however, get every area in 40 minutes. It's broken into 2 20-minute sessions. The first 20 is with just weights and the second 20 is with weights and a stability ball. In order to get the full effect I would recommend doing the entire 40 minutes. the first 20 doesn't hit every spot.
