Summary: IT'S NOT OVER.
Review: Picking up where Halloween left of, Halloween 2 continues the destruction of the night he came home. Allthough not as good as the first, Halloween 2 is a worthy seaquel with more bloodshed and terror then the first. If you enjoyed the first then I suggest you check this out. And remember, the boogyman never dies.

Summary: Let the sequals begin...
Review: set only minutes after the origional ends, HALLOWEEN 2 takes us through the rest of the night with Laurie as she tries to escape her brother in a hospital where she is being held until she can get better. The night is not up and the killings have not ended and this sequal in no way compares to the origional but is a great movie. It is also handled a little differently than the origional. But no matter how it is hadled it will always be one of the best in the HALLOWEEN series, for many reasons, but the main is because this is one of the last Jammie Lee Curtis is in. H20 and RESSURECTION are the last 2 she stars in before RESSURECTION stupidly decides to kill off her character. After this sequal the whole series heads down the road of FRANCHISE and gives us lame sequals...

Summary: Worth a look.
Review: What's interesting about this sequel is that it picks up directly where the first ended. It's a seamless transition and a worthy addition to the Halloween series.

Recommended.

Summary: Not bad, but not as good as the original.
Review: Not bad, but not as good as the original. I think there is a scene in a high school bathroom that is pretty scary.

Summary: It was down hill after this one!
Review: This was the end of the great Halloween movies in my openion. I mean part one is with out a doubt the best and part two is great as well but after this one they got band, I mean Michael Myers isnt even in part three? Whats up with that. Part four and H20 were alright but they were never the same after this. Jamie Lee Curtice is always great in these movies but I think she gives her best prformance here, she really knows how to play a victom! She goes through hell in the Halloween movies and some how she manages to survive and get out, and amazingly some how Michael does the same! If you are going to get into the Halloween movies only get this and the first one because after this they really dont make since and the acting starts to slowly suck!

Summary: An enjoyable sequel
Review: It is rare for me to like a sequel to a horror movie. "Nightmare On Elm Street" immediately jumped the shark with the sequel. "Friday the 13th" jumped the shark when the original came out. That was one movie I just cannot enjoy. "Halloween II" is an exception. It actually picks up where the first film ended when Dr. Sam Loomis shoots Michael and leaves the house to check to see if Michael is dead or not, only to find Michael had gotten up and walked off into the shadows. Laurie Strode is taken to the Haddonfield hospital and that is where the fun begins. What bothers me the most about the movie is: a) where the heck were Laurie's parents? and b) the lack of lighting in the hospital is so unreal. Plus shouldn't there be more people on staff at a hospital? Then again Haddonfield is a small town. It ain't Chicago that's for sure. The body count in "Halloween 2" increases. This was one of those movies where you want to scream at the person in the film for being so stupid. The suspense from the first film may be lacking in the sequel but I enjoyed the movie. It sure beats the heck out of its predecessors (although "Halloween IV" is a major guilty pleasure of mine).

Summary: Phenominal sequel, and a cut above the rest!!!
Review: I think Halloween II is great!! Granted, it doesn't have the scares the original did, but I do like that Rick Rosenthal stepped up the gore a little bit. In the first one Michael Myers
killed everybody by simply stabbing them. Whereas in this one he's alot more inventive. Like when he drowns the nurse and burns
her skin off her face. That is really cool. Or when he puts the
syringe,or needle in Dr. Mixters, and the nurses eye. That's some neat stuff.Personally I think they should have stopped after this sequel, but the others are ok too. Except 3. That had nothing to do with the Michael Myers storylines, and was generally corny. But Halloween II is brilliant, and a very worthy sequel.

Summary: Halloween II is the only true sequel to Halloween.
Review: Halloween II is not as good as the original, that is obvious. Many die hard Halloween fans hate this movie and others love it. I would blame some of the hatred on the fact that John Carpneter opted not to direct. This resulted in the movie's lack of tension and dread that the original seemed to master. Halloween II also ups the violence and bloodshed (and random killing which really bothered me). This movie takes place right after Halloween ends. Halloween II benefits from an excellent, at times a little over the top, preformance from Donald Pleasance. Many complain that Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) sucks in this movie because she is so zoned out. DUH! She is doped up. This adds to the fact that she is helpless. The script may have some problems, but Halloween II is the best sequel. This movie, while not holding a candle to the original, is scary, exciting, and will keep you at the edge of your seat. After a climatic and explosive ending, it is obvious that the series should have stopped right there. But NOO, a string of retarded sequels had to be made. From the Doyle's house to Haddonfield Hospital, Halloween II finishes "the night he came home" very well.
