Summary: Fun Phone for all Ages...
Review: This phone has been a great buy for me so far. I got it two days ago and havent been able to put it down since! The games are unbelieveably fun (ex. tetris), the ringtones sound like top-quality songs coming from your phone, and the reception is inpecable. I'd hate to sound like all the other reviewers, but my only complaint is that the buttons are a little flat and crammed. This isnt a big deal AT ALL for me, but I just wanted to let you know. The style of the phone is alot better in person than online. Customer service is great, so if you have any problems, just call them up. I did not give this phone 5 stars only because i have not had it long enough to test durability/ lasting appeal. I hope this helped!

Summary: WOW
Review: Wow this phone is great!!! I got it a couple days ago and I haven't stopped playing with it since! The games are awesome, you can pick wallpapers, screensavers, color themes, has great features, color screen, and the great features go on and on. I would recommend this phone for anyone!! Being an ex Kyocera user (I had a 2119b before), I thought, being a sliding Kyocera phone, that the phone will be a little flimsy and it could break. But the design is very sturdy and I couldn't have asked for a better phone.

Summary: Not just for teens
Review: Although Virgin is marketing this phone for teenagers, it can be a great alternative for light-usage adults who live in a major metropolitan area. Unlike other reviewers though, I find the MTV stuff pretty unobtrusive and not at all a problem.

I have a private line at work and a land line at home, and when I go out, I don't much care to chat on the phone while at a club or restaurant -- so I just don't use a cell phone all that much. Nonetheless, I do like the security and convenience for emergencies and for short calls. I was paying AT&T $35 a month, and using about 25 minutes -- which works out to a $1.40 a minute. With Virgin Mobile, I'm saving over $300 a year -- not a fortune, sure, but better in my pocket than in AT&T's.

As for the phone itself, I prefer its functionality to my old Motorola v60. It's easy to use, and reception is great in the areas I frequent. Some of the features I didn't think I'd use, such as the games (Tetris - yay!) and downloadable ringtones are actually fun. (Surprisingly, the MTV ringtone library includes tunes from Beatles, U-2, Sinatra and even Cab Calloway's 1930 hit "Minnie the Moocher," -- so there's something there for everyone.)

Two quibbles: First, although I learned to hate my old Motorola, I did love its brushed aluminum case -- real metal, not metalized plastic like the Slider. For $159 list price, Kyocera could give us real metal. (A $2 box of Altoids has a metal case, so how expensive can that be?) Secondly, I do wish that Virgin would sign a roaming agreement for the rare times when I venture out of Sprint's coverage area. I wouldn't mind paying even a hefty surcharge for those infrequent trips just so I could make and receive urgent communications.

Taking all this into consideration, my real rating for this phone/service plan would be four-and-a-half stars if Amazon permitted that. But on the whole, I'm so pleased that I'd rather round up than down.

Summary: i love this phone
Review: I like it allot it works really well some of the tones are cheesy but there are some good ones if your looking for a new phone I strongly suggest this one I have no problems with the buttons but my hands are not huge. Slider works well, my friends love it they think its James Bondish. Only complaint is that the background color for the led light for the numbers is blue and I would like to change it but its no biggie, otherwise I love it!

Summary: Purchased as part of a Prepaid Plan
Review: I bought this phone as part of a prepaid plan. It is unique in that it provides every fancy feature you could want in a phone in a prepaid plan. It uses the Sprint PCS network and has you covered on any highway in the United States. Exactly where I plan on using it the most. I've found coverage to be good in Western Virginia too. This is a full-featured phone at a good price. I highly recommend it.

Summary: Very Cool Phone
Review: I have this phone on MetroPCS....and it is awesome. Color screen, polyphonic ringtones, great graphics, easy to use!

Has some very useful features. SmartSound balances the volume of your calls depending on surrounding noise levels. Also comes with a speakerphone -- I clip my phone to the visor in my car, and instant car phone!!! No more losing headsets!

The screen is small....so if you're as presbyopic as I am, put your glasses on if you want to play any of the games!

Summary: Coolest phone around!
Review: OK guys, bottom line, this phone is freaking awesome. It has one of the slickest designs I have ever seen in a cellular phone. The features are GREAT. There are so much incredible features that it would take my forever just to name them all. Voice dialing, call waiting, caller ID, text messaging, just to name a few. The virgin mobile service makes it great also. No plans, no contracts, use the phone when and where you want. Simply recharge your minutes with buying these Virgin Mobile "top Up!" cards, ($20, $30, $50).
First 10 minutes of each day=25 cents a minute. Every minute after that, 10 cents a minuute. IM not too cool with the 25 cents a minute thing, but i guess i can deal. Get this phone!
