Summary: This is the close to, if not the best book I have ever read.
Review: This is, by and large, my favorite sci-fi book of all time. Ender's Game had so much impact to me. This is the only Orson Scott Card book I have read, and I fully intend to read Speaker of the Dead sometime in the near future.

This book was very real to me. The way the characters acted was very realistic. Their views, opinions, and the way they talked are how people in that position speak today. The plot was very real and the book nearly impossible to put down.

"INTENSE is the word for ENDER's GAME." The New York Times spoke truly. This book was a continuous stream of excitement. A Hugo and Nebula award winner, Ender's Game has touched the hearts of many.

Almost one-third of the people who I know have read Ender's Game feel that this book is their favorite. As of now, about 860 or so reviews have been written in Amazon.com, with an average of four stars. This is not merely coincidental. With exception of a few, Ender's Game is simply a great book.

One reviewer has said this, which has so much truth. To truly understand Ender's Game, one must have experienced some of what Ender experienced in Ender's Game. Gifted and talented students, army aviators, and more have written Mr. Card about how the book touched on their lives and how THEY were the Enders in the book. This made Ender's Game mean that much more to them.

So many people (including me), have made Ender's Game "their" story. Mr. Card says it best. "The story itself, the true story, is the one that the audience members create in their minds, guided and shapede by my text, but then transformed, elucidated, expanded, edited, and clarified by their own experience, their own desires, their own hopes and fears."

This book has meant so much to so many people. Buy this book, check it out from a library, borrow it from a friend. All I'm asking you is to try this book. I admit that some people do not like this book, but look at the reviews made; over nine out of ten people rated this book four stars or more.

Summary: By far the best book ever written
Review: This book is full of excitment ffom the moment you pick it up. You almost seem to become one with the lead character Ender Wiggin. It's about the struggle to overcome loneliness and fear. by far the best book ever written. If you haven't already I would definately check it out.

Summary: Favorite Sci-Fi book of all time!
Review: I'm not going to say anything about what I liked about the book, because I'd go on for hours, but I would just like to say that anyone who is thinking of reading this book. DO! It is the BEST Science Fisction novel I have EVER read! And I would also like to recomend the whole quartet, Enders Game, Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide, and Children of The Mind. All are marvelous! (And if you like those, look for "Ender's Shadow" the most recent of the series. From what I've heard, it's Bean's perspective of the story, plus more.)

Summary: WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Orson Scott Card is pure Genius. This book is binded with adventure, and printed with sadness. Just read the first chapter and you will be hooked. Great Job Mr. Card!!!

Summary: Intense and action-packed, come with Ender on his journey
Review: If this book excites you, as it did me, Ender's Game will set the momentum for you to read the entire series - and it's quite a long series! Born a Third child into a world which only allowed for two by law, Andrew (Ender) Wiggin is a government experiment in locating future military commanders to fight the enemy alien 'buggers.' He's a lonely boy who learns to deal with his problems by himself - all his problems! throughout the course of the book. Come with Ender in this book about innocence, deception, courage, strength and love. Ender's Game is a classic - not to mention a double award winner. Sci-fi was never this fun or easy to read until Card created Ender Wiggin.

Summary: Excellent! Action-filled and thought-provoking.
Review: Card presents his awesome ability to convey dialogue in an easily understandable way and twist your mind with a great plot and vivid descriptions. He knows his stuff, and not only from the books but from a child's mind.

Summary: Stand aside, Annakin Skywalker!
Review: I enjoy reading books. Usually, I stick to my favorites: Conrad, Conan Doyle, Dickens, but I've had Ender's Game recommended so often that I felt I'd do myself a disservice by not reading it. Science Fiction has failed to hold my interest in the past; I'm no Trekie! Despite my self-limited exposure to SciFi, I feel that Ender's Game rises above the traditional plot construction and cast of characters found in that genre. Card does a thorough and equally entertaining job of opening the life and mind of the hero, Ender Wiggin, to the reader. Ender's emotional trials and growth are unique to his extraordinary life circumstances, but somehow they are at the same time believable for those of us who have never had the fate of mankind on our shoulders. In light of this acheivement, I can forgive Card any lack of development in the secondary characters. For me the tale of young Ender's genius was enough to keep the pages turning. Now it's my turn to recommend this book to others as it was to me.

Summary: A wonderful read
Review: This book is amazing. I love sci-fi and fantasy (as well as the classics), and there are some books that just make you sit down afterwards and think. How can you explain a book like that? How, in 1k words or less, does a person explain a feeling about a book that has affected, in at least a small way, a part of his or her life?

I plead with you...if you like science fiction, then this is a great book for you. If you have never really read any sci-fi and want a good book to start you off, here's my suggestion.

Oh, I also wanted to say this: some people complained that this was "too much of an easy read." Well, screw that. If you only like books because of big words you probably don't understand anyway, then there are a lot of great books you're going to miss out on. Okay, that's my soap box for the day.

Summary: Exciting, touching, and great to read!
Review: I'm 14 years old and I'm currently reading this book for my English Class. When I had first saw the book, my response was.. "eww yuck." Because I HATE to read sci-fi books!! But this one is different, this one (unlike other sci-fi books with high reading levels) is great! It's exciting and it makes me wonder about the future. I'm still reading it (like half way), and I love it! I guess I'll post another review when I'm done with it.. It's worth it! Anyone would like it, whether you like sci-fi or NOT!!

Summary: I highly recommend Ender's Game!
Review: This is a fantastic book! Orson Scott Card does an excellent job in building the main characterof this tale. Ender is a character worth knowing - intelligent and compassionate, empathic and competitive. I find after a few months or years that I miss him, and come back to read the book again. Ender's Game and it's sequel Speaker for the Dead are my all time favorite novels. Well done, Card!
