Summary: Holes is a good book.
Review: It is a very good book. It has an intellegent plot because everything goes together like a puzzle. It's almost like Sachar is telling you the story. I like his style and the way its told. There are cool looking lizards. I didn't like any of the charecters but I liked the story.

Summary: Best Book I ever Read!!
Review: It is like a jigsaw puzzle that is fun but challenging. I say Louis did a great job thinking of how to write this book. I bet it was hard to do that.

Summary: Digging into Holes
Review: It is like gold because it is fabulous, famous, and great to read. This book was harder to understand in the beginning because it kept going into flashbacks but in the end, the flashbacks made the story more interesting. As we were reading the book, we ran into many questions and that made the book so fascinating. It is similar to Harry Potter books because it was very suspenseful. This would be a good book to give to your cousin or a friend for a holiday--that's how much we recommend it!

Summary: A Truely humorous and heart warming novel
Review: It is said that digging holes all day long will take a bad boy and turn him good. Or atleast thats the philosophy at Camp Green Lake. Which is a juvenille detention facility and just about the farthest thing from a lake. Soon after arrival Stanley and his friends of Tent-D begin to realize that the warden is in fact must be looking for something other than helping the boys to build character. But what could she possibly be looking for in a dried up lake in the middle of nowhere. As the plot thickens so does the readers suspense. Strange yet heart warming and funny you can almost never put the book down. Soon enough you find yourself rooting for Stanley Yelnats and his friends while at the same time learning a lesson in friendship, courage, and to always make the best of every situation no matter what curveballs life throws your way. As an inspiring and humorous novel, Holes by Louis Sachar has quickly become one of my favorite books.

Summary: Holes Critique
Review: It is sometimes hilarious, and sort of frightening. It is a long heartbreaking tale of a boy going to the worst place he's ever gone to, but finding it to be something special.
