Summary: Lisa Bright and Dark
Review: The book I read was Lisa Bright and Dark.It was a great book.It was one of my favorites that I have read so far.It is about a girl that is sixteen and her name is Lisa Shilling. She thinks that she is going crazy but her parents don't believe her.And the only people that listen to her are her friends. The best thing about the book is that if you read the back you think oh she has a great life but if you read it somethings shock you. That is why I liked this book so much.It really makes you think like when it says M.N. you have to remember what they are talking about. I really liked this book and I recomend this book to anyone.

Summary: holes
Review: The book I reviewed is holes. This intriguing book is about a boy that lives in a family that dose not have a lot of money. The father of this family is always trying to invent shoe products. So any way, on day when this boy is walking and a bridge a pair of autographed shoes come flying of the bridge and h it this kid in the head. Not knowing what to do, he takes the shoes and walks home. Now it turns out that those autographed shoes were autographed by a famous basket ball player that was going to give to a orphanage to auction off, but they fell out of the car and hit this kid. So, on the long walk home the cops pull up and arrest this kid for theft. Later at the court house the very honorable judge [but not knowledgeable of this kids situation] convicts him guilty and gives him an option to go to the horrible, not fun, and all together a rotten place to be at juvenile hall or Camp Green lake. So this kid gets thinking, how bad can a place called camp green lake really be, and any way it can't be worse than juvenile hall. Later on the bus comes to pick up this kid and after a long ride to Camp Green Lake he sees this not what he pictured. It looked like dessert and it was one. He gets of the bus and meets the rest of the kids here some of them have crazy nick names like Pits, Zero, and X-ray. He soon realizes that the is no lake here and that the lake dried up along time ago. After a nights rest they camp owners wake them all up early in the morning to dig 5 feet deep and five feet wide holes. That is how it goes day after day. And there are yellow spotted lizards out in the desert, and they are very poisons. One day while digging they dig up a clue that tells they aren't digging for discipline, but some way different.

Summary: Dig it Up!!!!
Review: The book I was reading was very good. The title was Holes and it was written by Louis Sachar. I think this book deserves four stars because it could have been less confusing. This book is about a kid who is walking home from school and gets hit on the head with a pair of shoes that belong to his favorite baseball player's shoes. Then he goes to court because they think he stole the shoes. Then he gets sent to Camp Green Lake. Read the book if you want to find out what happens on his trip to Camp Green Lake.

Summary: The book's humor makes it worth wile reading.
Review: The book is about a boy named Stanely. He gets in trouble for doing something he didn't do. So he is sent to Camp Green Lake (a concentration camp) where he is told to dig a hole the length of his shovel on the base and the height of the hole. The problem is that he has to dig the hole in the heat of Texas. In the book he finds friends with strange names like Zigzag, X-ray, and Armpit. He also makes some enemies like Mr. Sir, the Warden, and many others. I liked Stanely because of his determination to do things. Like he always wanted to know what was on top of 'the thumb'. He also wanted to teach Zero how to read and write.
