Review: The book is Holes. It is funny. Some of the parts I liked about this book were when Stanley's Dad was doing an experiment on sneakers. Another good part was when Stanley was digging and he found Kissing Kate Barlow's lipstick case. It's a realy good book.

Summary: You'll never stop reading !
Review: The book is named Holes because a boy had to go to boot camp and dig a hole everyday. I loved this book because it had very srong feelings and I just couldn't stop reading it! If you liked Wayside Scool is Falling Down books, then believe me you'll love this one.

Summary: This Book Rocks!
Review: The book is the one of the best I have ever read. In the last 5 years since I got the book, I have read it multiple times. The plot is one of the best because it connects multiple stories in the end. Towards the end, it makes you marvel at how they did this. I would recommend this to anyone!

Summary: Very dark and very politically correct
Review: The book is very dark. For almost the entire story, the maincharacter is in a prison work camp or is nearly dying of thirst in thedesert. Even the happy ending is told in an almost joyless way.Though marketed as a children's book, the story contains serious adult themes, including the lynching of a black man. Other themes are very politically correct -- none of the inmates at the prison camp have committed a serious crime; authority figures are corrupt and stupid; and lawyers (ugh!) will save the day in the end (see, I told you it was a joyless ending). This type of dreary "award winning" book is what makes Harry Potter so refreshing and so successful.

Summary: Holes: Stanleys aventure to brake the cruse
Review: The book is very enlightening and kept on my seat to the very end. My personal favourite is when he gets in a fight with Zig-Zag and Armpit.

Summary: Holes
Review: The book of Holes is very good. Let me tell you what it is all about. The book is about a boy named Stanley. He is about 13 years old and he goes to a place named Camp Green Lake. It is a place where boys go when they did something wrong.
Well while he is there is because of his no good dirty rotten great great grandfather. Shoes fell out of the air. Well when he went to court they asked him if he wanted to go to jall or camp, and Stanley thought that this would be a fun camp. To his surprise it was not that fun for Stanley. If you read the book I bet you will understand what I mean.I really recommend this book to all people who like funny and mystery books.

Summary: Really Good Book
Review: The book sounds stupid, but it's really an expression of kids today. They feel trapped, doing the same thing everyday, like the kids in the book. They dig a hole, every single day, and it's the monotony of it all that drives them to do all that they do. Also, it shows how greedy ambition can drive some to do things which any sane person would never think of doing, yet in a subtle way.

Summary: Everybody's Digging For Holes
Review: The book that I am reviewing is Holes by Louis Sachar. This five star book is about Stanley Yelants who is accused of stealing Clyde Livingston's shoes. When Stanley goes to court, the judge tells him that he has two choices, either go to jail or spend 18 months in Camp Green Lake. Stanley chooses to go to Camp Green Lake, but the problem is when Stanley arrives at Camp Green Lake he finds out that it is no longer a lake. As the days pass by Stanley makes friends out on the lake where he has to dig on hole a day. And as soon as he finds out that friends are like a treasure. And when one of his friends Zero runs away Stanley go out and rescues him and carries him up the mountain. Stanley finds out how to build up character by being a friend instead of digging holes. If you want to find out more of this awesome book go to your local library a pick up a copy of this awesome book!
