Rating: Summary: "Holes"-I FELL INTO THIS STORY Review: This book is about a boy whos name is Stanley Yelnats, his name is spelled the same both forward and backwards. He is wrongly accused of stealing shoes from a homeless shelter. The court finds him guilty and gives him a choice to go to military school or Camp Green Lake,he chose Camp Green Lake because his had never been fortunate enough to send him to camp. When he arraived to Camp Green Lake it wasnt great at all!The boys that were sent there had to dig holes in the hot desert sun! What I liked about this book is how much Stanley matures as the story went on.Such as his little confrontation with the warden made him more serious about his digging. When he met the person that really stole the shoes he was nice to him instead of being mean. This book taught me to make good choices becasue my freedom and other advantages can be taken away.

Rating: Summary: Things about Holes by Robby Nunez & Caleb Price Review: This book is about a kid named Stanley. He steals some shoes and gets sent to camp. At camp he meets many people. One of those persons is Zero. Another person is the Warden. She is very nice at the begining, but she turns mean at the end. There were many things in this book that are realistic. Three of them were that a person can not live without water for more than three to four days. Another reason is that a person can live on onions and water for more than two weeks. Also there are yellow spotted lizards. The first reason is that a person can't live without water. The reason is they will get dehydrated. The second reason is that a person can live on onions and dirty water. The reason is that onions are food, and water is something to drink. The third reason is that yellow spotted lizards are fake. The reason is that I've never seen one before. This book is very interesting. There are many things I enjoyed.

At this camp, Camp Green Lake, it is like a prison, but you can leave if you want to. It is in the desert, with no lake, and no green anywhere. The camp head mistress has one mission why she started the camp, to find the treasure. That's why everyday, everybody has to dig a hole, 5 feet deep, and 5 feet across. It is a great book, and you can never put it down! It's great for all ages!
Rating: Summary: It was great! Review: This book is about friendship and adventure. The main character, Stanley Yelnats, is poor and is picked on a lot. He is charged of a crime that he did not commit and goes to a correctional facility called Camp Green Lake. He must dig a five by five foot hole every day on a dry lake bed. He makes one good friend nicknamed Zero. They stick together and survive. This story will keep you guessing until the end. I read it for the second time and I was still surprised at some of the things that happened.

Rating: Summary: Jessica Barnes's and Saisha Meyer's review Review: This book is about this boy named Stanley Yelnats. He gets in trouble for a crime that he never commited. Everyday he has to dig a hole 5' ft all directions. Then he finally finds out he was innocent. The camp was shut down and made into a girl scout camp. There are several lessons that can be found in this novel. The three most important ones are don't steal, care for others less fortunate then you, and don't follow the wrong examples of others. The most important lesson is don't steal. Even if you want something that is'nt yours don't take it. It might be special or important to them, and if you take it from them, it will hurt them. The second important lesson is to care for others less fortunate then you. Just because they don't have, everything you have don't mean you should be rude. Be nice, and you will be treated with the same kindness. All anyone wants is a friend. The third most important lesson is don't follow the wrong examples of others. They will get you into trouble. You can find someone better than that. You really don't need someone like that; find a better friend. I thought this book was very interesting It could of been a little shorter, but it was still good. I would denfinately read it over, and over again. I would also recommend this book to all people that like a mystery.
